Starbucks Canada will be running two separate sales along side one another until February 8th, 2015 where you will be able to save on, you guessed it, coffee! These two offers will be available to online shoppers only, and the second, will require a promo code to be redeemed.

The first sale that you can take advantage of with Starbucks Canada is a 20% off sale on select K-Cup packs, Verismo pods, and VIA Instant packages. This sale has made 32-pod packages of Pike Place K-Cups to be just $24.39, though package of this size are usually sold for $30.95. That would make each cup of the classic Pike Place roast cost under $1, at just $0.76 per cup.

For the young learner in your home, you should check out the clearance deals going on at Walmart Canada right now, where you can save up to 50% off on brand name toys from companies like Fisher-Price. Porter Airlines Canada is having a seat sale on right now, with the only restrictions being that you must book before 11:59pm EST tonight – meaning you only have a few more hours left in the day to snag these prices – and you must travel before June 24th, 2015. The prices are definitely not at the lowest I’ve ever seen them, but considering the time of year and when the travel dates are, you’ll be getting a pretty good deal if you book wisely. For instance, there are one-way fares available from Toronto to Ottawa starting as low as $109.

Since you will also have to travel 21 days after your booking time to qualify for the lowest price, though there will be exceptions to this, I decided to try booking a flight from Toronto to Ottawa that would be leaving on March 1st and returning on March 7th, and found that the entire trip would only cost me $218 roundtrip.

Lowe’s Canada is having a small appliance sale, though I’ll admit that the amount of money you’ll be saving in this sale could not be further from the definition of being ‘small’. For starters, if you were to pick up the Samsung Front Loading High-Efficiency Washer, you would be saving yourself a total of $500 as it is now being sold for just $898 (regularly $1,398).

Even when you get into the smaller appliances within this sale, the savings remain at the same high rates. This Oster 34-oz. Silver Juice Extractor is currently being sold for $59.99, though it usually retails for close to $80. This juicer also features an extra-wide chute, so as to allow you to put whole vegetables and fruits in, rather than having to chop them up prior to juicing (saving you money, and time!)

Amazon.ca’s Kindle Series is comprise some of the best e-readers on the market, and with over 3.1 million books in their library, you will have access to one of the largest digital libraries at the palm of your hands. The Kindle, the standard and most recent addition, is currently being sold on Amazon.ca for a shockingly low price of $64, though it normally sells for close to $80.

The new Kindle also features some great new technologic additions that will excel your virtual reading experience, specifically the touchscreen feature that enables you to use the dictionary look up feature seamlessly, highlight, and use the X-ray tool. The second Kindle sale that Amazon.ca is offering is on the newest addition to the Kindle Series, and that’s on the Kindle Paperwhite Touch Screen which is now being sold for $119 (regularly $139). Unlike back-lit tablets, this e-reader won’t strain your eyes as it forces your eyes to look at the surface through its Paperwhite technology. Additionally, a charge on this e-reader will last you on average for 8 weeks, unlike most tablets which die after only a few days.

One of the many new features to the Kindle Paperwhite e-reader – that I thought was a really neat add-on – is the Vocabulary Builder which allows you to store new words that you may not know already, and to look back at those words later and play interactive games to quiz your knowledge. For those of you who thought technology was making us lazier, this latest development is surely trying to reverse that stereotype!
