I’m sure many of you have seen the Grinch who stole Christmas starring Jim Carey. I had seen it years ago and had forgotten about the little stuff. Well it was on Monday, and I never realized how much adult humour there is in this movie.
For example in one part the Grinch is a baby in a tree while his to be parents were having a party. They were dancing kinda provacatively with each other then you see a fishbowl come out and they all throw their keys in.
Hmmn. Key game? I’ve seen it on movies before its a swingers game. Yuck! My husbands theory was keys were collected so the Who’s of Whoville don’t drink and drive, but I’m definitely onto these swinging Whos!
Has anyone else noticed some of the adult humour in this movie? I know its common for movies such as Shrek to be suggestive but I never noticed it in this moive.
So if you have seen this part whos side are you on? Are the Who’s Swingers or are they just keen and don’t drink and drive? Or both?

We personally have been to parties and used the fishbowl (actaully we use a big trifle bowl)at our own for drivers to throw throw their keys in when they come in the door…we are NOT swingers, never have been, and use it because it’s big enough to chuck the keys into..lol..
We provide some designated drivers to drive the people home.
Hehhe, but as far as I could tell the provacative dancing was not with their husbands and wives, rather other peoples.

Oh they are definately swingers! We watch this movie year round. dd loves it and shes too young to get the adult humour. I think I might watch it tonight.

Yes they are Swingers..All of hollywood especially walt disney cartoons or childrens film have a lot of messages for active brains to learn about nasty, sex, drugs, alcohol,if you kiss someone you must marry them and a lot of bad language..They think its laugh off but the reality is these are subconcience planted into childrens minds..
Very disgusting of them because we all know that american parents are too stupid to talk to thier children and fully inform them on these subjects..

It’s just like the uninformed to go ahead and blame media for the world’s short comings. “Video games cause violence” as an example… umm, no, violence has been around long before video games, TV and movies. Teen pregnancy? wasn’t it the norm many years ago for women to have entire families before they turned 15?
Preventing a child from seeing things is as bad as making them lice in a windowless soundproof box. It is the parents’ responsibility to communicate to their offspring in order to help them understand fact/fiction, right/wrong, etc.
The only things I have against Disney are Walt’s supreme antisemitism and that they are one of the most corrupt corporations on Earth (like Irving). Still, some of their movies are pretty entertaining.
