I’m sure many of you have seen the Grinch who stole Christmas starring Jim Carey. I had seen it years ago and had forgotten about the little stuff. Well it was on Monday, and I never realized how much adult humour there is in this movie.

For example in one part the Grinch is a baby in a tree while his to be parents were having a party. They were dancing kinda provacatively with each other then you see a fishbowl come out and they all throw their keys in.

Hmmn. Key game? I’ve seen it on movies before its a swingers game. Yuck! My husbands theory was keys were collected so the Who’s of  Whoville don’t drink and drive, but I’m definitely onto these swinging Whos!

Has anyone else noticed some of the adult humour in this movie? I know its common for movies such as Shrek to be suggestive but I never noticed it in this moive.

So if you have seen this part whos side are you on? Are the Who’s Swingers or are they just keen and don’t drink and drive? Or both?

Happy Holidays! :D

Thanks for the cute pic Sally!
We personally have been to parties and used the fishbowl (actaully we use a big trifle bowl)at our own for drivers to throw throw their keys in when they come in the door…we are NOT swingers, never have been, and use it because it’s big enough to chuck the keys into..lol..
We provide some designated drivers to drive the people home.

Hehhe, but as far as I could tell the provacative dancing was not with their husbands and wives, rather other peoples.

So your not swingers litesandsirens? Lmao! Just playin.

LOL, saw the movie when it came out! Missed it the other night, but I don’t remember this part, haha

Maybe they will play it again b4 Xmas, lol

Sally,Sally,Sally, Movies are made to entertain, not to think.
That said, the Cartoon original is way better!

Oh they are definately swingers! We watch this movie year round. dd loves it and shes too young to get the adult humour. I think I might watch it tonight.

  6. haunish

I watched it to the other night and seen the fishbowl with keys and thought the same thing ” the whos are swingers ”

  7. monkeymommy

I don’t know if they are swingers or not.…but they do cheat on each other!!!

Did you catch the part when the babies are arriving in whoville and the husband calls back to his wife “he looks alot like your boss”

    Too funny!

Yes they are Swingers..All of hollywood especially walt disney cartoons or childrens film have a lot of messages for active brains to learn about nasty, sex, drugs, alcohol,if you kiss someone you must marry them and a lot of bad language..They think its laugh off but the reality is these are subconcience planted into childrens minds..
Very disgusting of them because we all know that american parents are too stupid to talk to thier children and fully inform them on these subjects..
That is why teen pregnancy is very high so is drug and alcohol use and kill with guns..Because they are shown as kids in their films that it is ok to do because it is funny-(when your dead)..
My sister did her thesis on this..Very large subject..
My kids are not alowwed anything to do with disney..

  10. Sally

Amber Amber Amber, How could one not know Who’s Who is married to what Who and whose Who whom they want to lay the man Who to!

Mike, what? “That is why teen pregnancy is very high so is drug and alcohol use and kill with guns..Because they are shown as kids in their films that it is ok to do because it is funny”

It’s just like the uninformed to go ahead and blame media for the world’s short comings. “Video games cause violence” as an example… umm, no, violence has been around long before video games, TV and movies. Teen pregnancy? wasn’t it the norm many years ago for women to have entire families before they turned 15?

Preventing a child from seeing things is as bad as making them lice in a windowless soundproof box. It is the parents’ responsibility to communicate to their offspring in order to help them understand fact/fiction, right/wrong, etc.

The only things I have against Disney are Walt’s supreme antisemitism and that they are one of the most corrupt corporations on Earth (like Irving). Still, some of their movies are pretty entertaining.

  12. Eric

*that’s supposed to be “live” not “lice” btw. Also, I will say nothing further on this, as this is not the place to quibble back and forth.

Let’s just leave it with “Merry Christmas”

I like your website! Wonderful articles, and wonderful grammar. I am getting fed up of browsing blogs and sites which appear like they are published by third graders. Have you got a Twitter? Mine is @dmastylo, why don’t we follow one another! :)

I’ve followed your web page for fairly a lengthy time and actually can tell that your content material articles frequently demonstrate to be of a higher value and good quality for readers.
