‘Band of Brothers’ is a very impressive HBO show, created by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. It’s a 10-episode series about Easy Company in World War II. The Blu-Ray version looks absolutely stunning — but it’s still a great show in DVD format as well. Today only it’s on for a discounted price:

While on the topic of HBO produced shows, another at a good deal right now — and an amazing show as well, is ‘From the Earth to the Moon’. This is a 12-episode dramatic series documenting the push to visit the moon through the ‘50s, ‘60s and early ‘70s.
