Blow-out Deal on Cosmetics at E.L.F. Canada

Posted by & filed under Canadian Deals & Coupons.

Got this email from Tanya the Netchick today. Thanks Tanya :-)

A friend of mine told me about this today and it is a great deal. Apparently the make-up line E.L.F. ( Eyes, Lips, and Face) has been bought out by Nordstrom and will be re-packaged with the Nordstrom name on it. They are getting rid of all the make-up in ELF packaging. I hear it’s pretty good make-up. They are selling everything for $1. Yes that’s right — one dollar.

Also, if you use the coupon code: CAROLINA you will get $7.50 off your first $15 of your purchase.

I just spent, uh, WAY too much money on that site, but wow, it’s worth it.

    Customer Alert !!!

This is a spam email, this brand always sell almost everything for 1$ since 2006 (or so).

    From Nordstrom:
We have learned that some of our customers received e-mails regarding the website eyeslipsface.com. We want you to know that Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com are not affiliated with eyeslipsface.com or the e.l.f. product line, nor with any e-mail regarding that website or product line. Nordstrom does not sell e.l.f. products. Please know that Nordstrom would not ask for your account information through e-mail communication.

what is the usual price for thir products? I looked up their australian website and it’s all around $3–4…

  3. Sally888

Its usually 1 but there mineral makeup and kits are more.

I really like there eyeliner ;)

  4. Chubbydeer

Are you sure Nordstrom would buy their makeup line? First of all I’ve been to Nordstrom rack (like Holt Renfrew last call) and the makeup lines there are even much better quality. I have actually seen makeup with similar packaging to ELF makeup selling for $1 at TJMaxx (Similar to Winners) and have been wondering if it is the same stuff. Anyways, I would say buy their stuff at your own discretion. All their lip stuff sting my lips in a really chemical-y way…

I wish That I Knew before going on this website that it was spam. I actually ordered on it thinking that I am getting a good deal, but now that I read Chubbydeer I am not happy with buying on their site. Couldn’t canadian Deals Blog have stopped this mail from coming onto their site? Signed, Jaded

  6. Tanya (aka NetChick)

I didn’t check the Nordstrom’s part, but I’ve had friends buy their product plenty of times in the past, and they love their stuff. This is a fantastic deal.

  7. mememe

either way whether it’s usually $1 or not that is a GREAT price especially with the $7.50 off coupon

  8. alajen

It usually takes me forever to use up my makeup, so the smaller format of the ELF line-up seems well suited to me.

$1 per item is a good price, whether it is on sale or not.

A GOOD price on a quality product is better than a fire sale on a product that might be expired or turn your skin green or fuzzy. I’ll just pretend that regular price is $20 so I can FEEL that I got a SUPER deal. ;)

Then to sweeten the deal, there is the $7.50 off coupon. :)

I’ve bought this stuff twice now and I love it!!

I recommend it to everyone I know…in fact I bought the mineral makeup (just to try and see whether the mineral based products do work better…and at the price it was worth it)

I love the product so much that I reordered it!!

I’ve only spent about $20–21 (including taxes and shipping) each time but received 8–15 items which is an awesome deal (well i used the 7.50 off coupon too but still amazing!)

  10. no longer a giant tiger customer

In a way, this IS spam because it’s motivating people to buy a product based on a lie. E.L.F. make is ALWAYS $1 and has been for some time. The coupon, also, is not new and has been available for at least a year. I think this post is misleading.

  12. 1Str8Mizz

oh wait, no u can’t combine them anymore…i guess it was a limited promotion

but those codes are pretty legit

  13. Sally888

Yeah I just played around with the codes to see which one would save me more when I ordered from them months ago :)

    I really like there eyeliner

I didnt like the concealer or mineral makeup, it seemed like cheap dollar store stuff.

I had to giggle about the smart canuck site not filtering this message comment.

  14. catnyp

    Good products, fast shipping…
and, if you keep your UNDER $20, there’s no tax or duty for Canadian orders.

  15. amy

but shipping to canada is 16 bucks…
    what a jip..

apparently this was posted in 2006 on smart canucks and it said standard flat rate was only 9…

  16. Talee

I would advise people who prefer quality makeup to stay away, this stuff is similar to what is at your local dollar store.

  17. sumz

r u serious? but then why are ppl saying so many good things about it?

  18. jennitilly

How much do you think import taxes will be on $37 worth? + The shipping brought it to $43.

  19. Sweet Sue

This is in response to Sally888. If I thought it was spam then it’s par for the course that I question why it was allowed onto Canadian Deals’ website. Nothing funny ’bout that!
