Buy a specially marked box of General Mills cereal and you can get a free read!  Depending on the type of cereal you buy you can get either a magazine subscription or a kid’s book or magazine subscription.  Here is a list of participating cereals:

Get your code for a free magazine subscription in boxes of:

Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Multi-Grain Cheerios, Banana Nut Cheerios, Oatmeal Crisp Maple Nut, Oatmeal Crisp Raisin, Oatmeal Crisp Almond, Oatmeal Crisp Triple Berry, and Oatmeal CrispVanilla Almond cereals.

Get your code for a free children’s book or magazine subscription in boxes of:

Lucky Charms, Nesquik, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese® Puffs, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, and French Toast Crunch cereals

The great thing is that a lot of us have gotten coupons for a free box of Multigrain Cheerios, so if you haven’t use it yet, this is a great promotion to get even more for free!  There is no limit as to the number of subscriptions or books you can order either.  It also says that you can extend the length of a subscription by entering two or more codes for the same magazine!

Click here for more information or to enter codes!

Thanks to buck143 for letting us know about this amazing freebie!

Is there a list of magazines and children’s books I can take a look at? I looked at the website, I didn’t see anything.

    Hmm.

  2. amy

Thanks! I love when General Mills has their book promo :)

  3. The_Scarecrow

Glad they have this offer again. What I did to get double the amount of the same issues was order right when you receive the first coupon and then order again with another coupon the day before the expiry date since it will be a few months later.

  4. Zak

Is there any other type of promotions? I still have alot of the free multigrain ones to use.

  5. sweetmomma

That’s awesome! I will be searcjing for these.

I wish they offered the children’s books on cereal my kids actually eat (like regular/multigrain/honey nut Cheerios). We’ve picked up some favourite books from the cereal boxes :)

I love this promotion. You have to move fast on some of the magazines. I can’t seem to get the website to load. It says something about the original email. Anyone have any ideas how to open it?

  8. Melanie

Good tip about using the free Multigrain cheerios coupon to get the subscription — I almost used mine the other day.

  9. Taryn

Most of the subscriptions are for 3 issues. I think a few may send up to 6 issues.

  10. Leia

When does this promotion start? I haven’t seen any of the specially marked boxes in the grocery store yet.

    Hello…
I’m trying to enter my code from box of Cheeerios but it won’t let me!! What am I doing wrong??
    Help!

  12. Jay

Bought the cereal but an error message comes up when I try to reach the website — what gives??

  13. kerry

I have looked in about 6 major stores for this promo, but have yet to see the specially marked boxes…

  14. Ciel

Jillian, the magazine subscriptions are for three months only. If the magazine is a monthly, you could get your first issue in under a month after submitting the code and picking your desired title.

Glad to see the return of this offer!

I have tried to get into the site by clicking on the button that states to enter my code and always the “sorry ” there has been and error comes up. This is hurting your reputation so why are you blocking all our attempts?

I was able to get through and redeem from the website that is one above on google. It says Canada samples at the top, but half way down the page there is a link to redeem.

  23. Karen

I am totally miffed– I bought the cereal thinking I will get the free mag subscription, and for the past HOUR~!!!!! I cannot get through the process– keeps on turning toward “oops” or, pin is stuck, wait another 15– 20 minutes. I could have already written the magazines– A loyal customer to your brand– I am turned off! and I have no Free Magazines.

  24. Ciel

Karen, how recently did you purchase your cereal? I last saw a few boxes with the subscription offer around July in the Hamilton area. The link I used to have for the code redemption no longer works, so I believe the offer is more or less done.

  25. Julie Hagedorn

I cannot get to where i ener my code it keeps coming up as OOPS but this does not expire until the end of the month????????

Amazing! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a totally different topic but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!
