Denny’s is giving away FREE Original Grand Slam Breakfast on Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 from 7am to 2pm. This has been confirmed to be for US and Canada.
Denny’s are located all over Canada, but I know there are not many in Ontario, the nearest one to me is Niagara Falls I think. So I won’t be making it out for this, unfortunately. Please check the store locator on their site before you go!

Pretty filling breakfast, with eggs, sausages, bacon and pancakes. Paid total of $13.50 for 3 people’s coffee, juice, hash brown, fruit, tax and tips. Not bad.
Im heading over around noon after class with my roomate. Hopefully, its as good as it looks.
I got mine at Calgary’s Crowfoot location. Free food just tasted so much better! =)
A few College students came in just after us… the prof had let them go to get the free breakfast. Surprisingly– only 5 left the class. The other 20 stayed. !???!!! BTW– It was yummy. Love pancakes!
Looks like heart attack food! I would, however, scarf it down if there was a Barrie location.
Went to Whitby and it was good, however would not go back and pay the regular price(Too much $).

I went to the Lundy’s Lane one in Niagara Falls for lunch. I took my daughter and two elderly neighbours and we had a fabulous time! The food was great and it was SOOO quiet!
How much was the grand slam worth anyway? I have no idea and it’s not on the website.
It’s worth $8.88 I just came back from it, and you get two fluffy pancakes, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, and scrambled eggs. The portion size was quite large, I couldn’t even finish it! Definitely worth going to
I haven’t had Denny’s in ages! I wish Bob Evans would cross the border and set up shop here. That restaurant has the best breakfasts ever! Would have liked to have gone to Denny’s however with it being a work day and no Denny’s around these parts it really wasn’t happening for me
Hey mommy2alayna I was at the one near CLifton Hill just around 12. There was only about 12 people in the restaurant. Was wonderful.
Oh my…where I live in BC, there have been people waiting for over 20 minutes since it started this morning and they were still waiting when we left. It is a great promotion but almost not worth it here. The entrance was completely JAMMED with people just trying to even get on the wait list. I lucked out and only had to wait for 10 minutes to get in and a nice man gave up his seat on the bench for me and my two young children to sit and wait on. We were seated and my husband showed up from work a minute later and said that people were shouting at him to go to the back of the line when he tried to get in to join us at our table. He said he almost got hit, people were so upset. Wow, that is just sad. It truly was INSANE and I think that it was due to a local news website broadcasting it for the last week. I don”t know if I will “risk” it next year. The staff was amazing and offered donut type samples and were super friendly at the table. We also got a wonderful coupon booklet for buy1get 1 meals in the months to come. We had a great experience.

@Ivan, the grand slam in brampton on queens had a sign saying Mon-Fri Grand Slam $5.99 I believe
In Vancouver, there were huge line-up, and I waited for 25 mins to have a seat. And it seemed line-up never endded. It was around 9am. A staff was very friendly, although some people had to wait so long to place order even at the table. Anyway, it was a good experience. I didn’t get the coupon booklet. Well, I will not go for that reason, then. But if it were $8.88, then I think that was a bit expensive. $5.99 understandable.
Oh, be careful for the next time, drink is not included in the breakfast. I and a person next to me didn’t know about that. And placed order for drink. It was ok for me, I intended to buy a drink if it were not included. But the person seemed a little puzzled for charges.
