Wow, 6-8 weeks for delivery? You’d think with what they charge for delivery, they’d get them out the door quicker than that. I was gonna pay for price, but I might as well trade in UPC codes for the set.
Just remembered seeing the Sidekicks on sale at No Frills for $0.99 each. Gonna swing by after work today to get a half dozen.

7.29 for shipping is ridiculous, shipping on two tiny small plastic items in either a bubble wrap envelope or small packet would cost no more than 2.29, so you are not getting these for free they are scamming an extra 5.00 out of you to buy the item, i hate when companies try to deceive me, they think all consumers are push overs and will not know the difference, for this fact alone i will not order these, i would rather them had charged me 5.00 to buy them plus 2.29 for shipping and then i would know they think of me as a smart consumer, not the opposite.

Problems with GST#? Just change your store to “Other”… had to do this since my No Frills GST# wasn’t accepted.

I am not interested in getting this. If anyone wants my UPC codes, it is 6840001890 – use the same code 3 times as I bought 3 of the same packets. It was working for me but I am not interested in paying so much for shipping and handling. GST # is 869755272 – I bought these at Price Chopper but please choose “Other” for the store otherwise, it will not work. Enjoy 🙂
Only smart and sassy shoppers would complain about the cost of Shipping and Handling on such a low cost item. (BTW I agree) But it seems to be more desirable then any of the Olympic/Canadiana Collectible (yeah! Stuff) that’s out there.
Now aren’t they clever for making us want their product and buy 3 packages to get the better deal and to make us pay that $7something for the S&P on top of it all??? (Ironic: We remove the salt so that you can buy it).

as someone who ships 100s of parcels a year, i know that canada post is EXTREMELY expensive within canada. i could send an EMPTY kleenex box to my neighbour, and it’d be a minimum of 5$ postage, closer to 8$ for the other side of the country. anything thicker than about 1/2 an inch won’t fit thru their magic ‘slot’ then becomes $$$$$$.
so the postage IS a bit steep, but it’s only what they’re paying.

I had problems with the gst number. I called Knorr three times and they told me they would fix the problem, then they told me to try adding R + the number + RT001 that did not work. I read all the comments here and entered the store to other and it worked, Thanks 🙂
This offer is one of the greatest marketing scams of all time. Not only are people running out buying the sidekick product, they are paying $14.99 for the free shakers plus shipping and handling. To top it all off Knorr has and never did have suppkies to fill even a nominal amount of orders. But man did they sell the product. Everyone should do 2 things. One, return the product you bought, and two don’t buy anymore.

I paid shipping only and ordered a few days before they ran out.Glad they are back because the facebook page was full of unhappy salty fans,who really wanted the set.I need a new pair of shakers,so they won’t just be packed away as collectibles,those days are long gone…
Mine arrived yesterday. Love them! So cute:) And Steve you’re completely wrong. You do not pay $14.99 plus shipping as you stated. If you have the UPCs (most of us who ordered buy these products anyway and probably had them in our cupboards at the time of order) you pay the $7 and change for shipping. That is the complete charge. Not sure why you’re so upset over people wanting to buy them….
I am cranky because they have been messing with my credit card. I ordered on Feb 2 and received my order a month later. On March 25, they credited my credit card for the amount I paid and now on April 12, they put it back on. It nets out but I don’t like it when companies mess with my credit card.
