Disney Rewards Canada Free (+S&H) Blu Ray Movie on Your Birthday!!

Posted by & filed under Canadian Freebies, Free Stuff.

disney_movie_rewards

This is an exciting new offer from the Disney Rewards Club.  On your birthday they will send you a Blu Ray movie of your choice (from a select list) for free, although you do have to pay $2.95 for shipping and handling.  Now $2.95 for a Disney Blu Ray sounds like a great deal to me.   You will also get 25 reward points added to your account.  And even better, you can still get the movie even if you have a 0 balance!

Sounds almost too good to be true, but some smartcanucks members have already gotten their birthday movie!

Click here to join Disney Rewards.

Thanks to koala for posting this amazing freebie!

It’s not really a “new” offer — DMR has been doing this since BR’s were launched. You can only take advantage of the promo once per mailing address.

so once you sign up. do you have to do anything else?
will they just automatically notify you close to your birthday and remind you of this deal?

    thanks*

Great offer, just signed up. Anything free is always welcome. Maybe they’ll offer free Disney vacations next :)

ive been a member of DMR for about 2 years now and i have never gotten that offer :( my bday is next week and i haven’t received any kind of offer from disney for a free movie

My husband got this, but I do believe your account can’t be zero it has to be an active account with points added recently, not everyone seems to get this offer. I posted about this quite sometime ago.

I just wanted to point out some things so not everyone runs and signs up with a fake bday of tommorow or something and thinks theyll get a free blu ray because thats not how it works.

Je viens tout juste d’essayer de m’inscrire… pas valide pour les résident du Québec!!! :(

  7. Jennie

I know, it sucks that Quebec is excluded in alot of stuff :(
But luckily I have relatives that live else where in Canada that do not have kids :D

i had no idea disney had a rewards site until just a couple of weeks ago… since my daughter was born (3 years ago), we’ve bought almost all of the princess movies that were released from the vault and it was only until I bought Snow White and Pinocchio this year for Christmas (for my daughter AND new son) that I found codes in the pocket. I’m missing out! I tried to dig through my old movie cases to see if there were codes but no. I think my daughter beat me to them and sadly, they’re either gone or they never were. BOO. Oh well, I’m probably going to get her a Tinkerbell movie and we’re definitely going to buy the Princess & the Frog when it comes out :)

  9. Natalka

I haven’t gotten this over, been a member at least two years.

  10. Julie

It sucks Quebec is always the exception…I would have wanted a free movie!

  11. idroppedthadrink

  12. MEGHAN

I JUST HAD A BIRTHDAY AND THEY SEND YOU AN EMAIL WITH A CODE TO ENTER FOR THE POINTS AND THE FREE MOVIE. THEN YOU LOG IN AND ENTER THE CODE JUST LIKE YOU WOULD ANY OTHER DISNEY CODE AND IT UPDATES YOUR ACCOUNT AND IF YOU LOOK UNDER ACCOUNT SUMMERY IT WILL SAY FREE MOVIE AND YOU CLICK THEN YOU FILL OUT YOUR ADDRESS AND YOU HAVE TO PAY WITH VISA FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING.

I just received my B-day CD. The best part it that it also comes with the bonus points, so my account accumulates another 125 points! It is like Sally said– you have to keep your account active.

Steph: I just recently joined the Disney rewards too and I discovered that many of my movies didn’t have cards either so I looked into it and anything bought before some date in 2007 didn’t apply and even then many of the movies bought later didn’t have codes. You can apply to get points for movies bought after the date (I can’t remember exactly) in 2007, but you have to have the original reciept (which if you’re like me is long ago gone).

  15. Melly_00

Also, don’t forget to enter CELEBRATE for 50 bonus points before January 31 2010!

  16. Matt

    Blu-Ray’s they offer you are:
    1) National Treasure
    2) Enchanted — the one I chose cause its an amazing movie!
    3) The Game Plan
    4) Meet the Robinsons
    5) High School Musical 2

  17. mini fish

thank you Melly! I entered CELEBRATE and got the 50 bonus points =D!!

  18. Ann

I got mine last June. I got the email around my birthday, and after I put the S&H on my AMX, I received it in a few weeks. Never been offered this before, and I’ve been a member for years. What a great bonus!

  19. blossom

Denied too… I live in Quebec.… Guess it has to do with the 101 law.……:(

  20. mdb

    It’s not Disney’s fault — it’s Quebec’s. Check your contest/giveaway laws.

  21. Anne Brightman

I sent a contact note to disney rewards about the free blueray movie on your birthday, sent it on November 15th have not got a response from them yet. My birthday is on November 24th, would appreciate any help you can get me. Thanks

  22. Hockeyinvolved

I didn’t receive the offer on my birthday but rather my anniversary date of signing up for the DM club…either way got a free Blu Ray…
