None of us wants to lose our pet so lets make it easier to get them back if they do wander off. You can register your pets with the Humane Society and they will send you a FREE pet tag with your pet’s name and your contact information. There is also a unique id number and toll free phone number on the tag that can be used if your pet is found anywhere in Canada or the U.S. This is a great way to help get your pet back to you if they get lost and it’s free!
I did this a couple of years ago for my old dog and forgot about it when I got my new one so I’ve registered her and am awaiting her tag. It may take a little time but they do come.

The site worked fine for me.
I registered this morning and got a confirmation email pretty quickly. It isn’t the best set up site, but I didn’t have any problems.
Both my dog and cat have tags from the Humane Society. I actually emailed them when the site didn’t work for me when I registered before and they just told me to reply to the email the sent back with all of the info it requested including the photos of your pet.

Don’t fall for this farce. They are trying to get your information so that you have to register your pets every year. It is NOT NECESSARY.
couldn’t register either, tried several times before giving up.
I did this a few years back. It took perhaps 8 mths for them to deliver the tags.
Save yourself time and hassle, pay the $10 to get it done at Petsmart
I did this back in June and got the tags within a couple weeks. I had no problems with it. Tag will display the pet’s name and two phone numbers.
Julie … donate a few bucks to make a difference rather than complaining. Web site design costs money.

Tina. It’s necessary if you care about your pet and want to receive free followup from the HS if your pet is lost. Pets need cynics too. Animals don’t know what “scam” means. Mean.

they are a good site i have had 2 dogs get the tags and now i just sent for my 2 cats to get their tags as well they are great with the tags being sent out they even called me about my tags it was a bout a month but i would keep them in my book
