I *love* free samples, but I sorta cringe when it’s through The Bay because I find their customer service…lacking. Navigating through all their beauty counters, I’ll ask someone for help locating a particular brand, and most of the time I’ll get, “I don’t know. I work for [another brand], try over there!” Followed by pointing in some vague direction. Most of the time, I find that I have to ask more than one person before I find what I’m looking for! Since it’s Canadian, the bad customer service gives me a case of the sads. 🙁
Wow…that ad image is highly inappropriate! What are we selling here anyways!?!
“I don’t know. I work for [another brand], try over there!” this is because most of the counter workers in cosmetics/fragrance are hired by certain brands(are not Bay employees) and their training is limited to that family of fragrance lines etc. I have a go to girl at my Bay (Kelly) and she takes care of my needs whether they are from her “lines” or not. Just gotta find your own ‘Kelly’ I guess.

I think she is beautiful. I guess it’s all in the beholder.
