  16. Disappointed

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN STARBUCKS, VANCOUVER!!!!!!!!!! I FINALLY GOT MY HUSBAND TO BRING ALONG HIS REUSABLE COFFEE MUG TO STARBUCKS TO HAVE THEM FILL IT INSTEAD OF YET ANOTHER DISPOSABLE COFFEE CUP. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!!! HE WATCHED THE STARBUCKS WORKER MAKE HIS VANILLA LATTE IN A STARBUCKS DISPOSABLE CUP, THEN POUR IT FROM THERE INTO HIS REUSABLE COFFEE MUG, THEN IN TURN THROW THE STARBUCKS DISPOSABLE CUP RIGHT INTO THE GARBAGE! WHAT A FARCE-STARBUCKS IS NOT SOCIALLY, NOR ENVIRONMENTALL RESPONSIBLE AT ALL. SHAME ON YOU, STARBUCKS! CHANGE OR BE FOREVER VILLIFIED BY OUR FAMILY!

You can’t be serious in celebrating any day, never mind earth day Your corp. just announced that they were ending a richmond supplier and
going to toronto to buy muffins for british columbia. hah that takes the cake or the muffin so to speak. the carbon foot print to ship muffins daily to b.c. is not only irreponsible, its a stupid move in a social way as well. Starbucks has a hugh presence in the lower mainland and yet you would rather support the toronto economy than the british columbia economy. there is a movement afoot to support buy canadian, well, it should include you as well. if you can’t do that for the people of this province perhaps you should move back to seattle and stay there. i for one will no longer buy any starbucks inthe future, i will make my own and take
it with me in a travel mug, or simply use canadian companies, which you are not though you are starbucks canada in name but you are solely operated from an american base.
I as a consumer can and will fight back. this it where it starts and hopefully it really hurts yhou int he long run. if you don’t care about the community that you serve and make your profit in well then i for one will boycot you in every way i can.
