I’m going to go to Hallmark and get one or more (hopefully) of these cards to mail to my dh who is deployed. There are 6 in his group, so it would be nice to get one for each of them. Remember, postage is free to deployed troops, so consider mailing these cards off.

Amber, is your dh from the Edmonton base? I miss my son terribly. He is not deployed this time but I only see him once a year as he is far from home. Thus, a card like this is wonderful! Great for Hallmark to think of our Canadian soldiers!
    Thank you!

We have a very dear dear young man who was stationed here in Leitrim and presently in Afghanistan serving with the US Military. He was posted in Hawaii and is now in the last three month of his posting. His wife Sonya is expecting their first son, any day now. Ken will not be with her to see his son welcomed into this world he and his fellow soldiers are fighting so hard for.

To Ken and all our boys, you are in our hearts and soul every day and today of all days, you are not forgotten, you are in the forefront of our kindest and warmest thoughts.

Henri-Paul Fortier — a fellow soldier –WW II Veteran friend
    and Francine his daughter.
