I am very upset with the Jean Machine located in the Georgian mall in Barrie, Ontario. I went in on boxing day and waited in line to try on an item and then in line to buy the item. It was marked 39.95 and then had a sale ticket attached to the arm with plastic reading 19.95. This was not my mistake it was an employees of the store, but they would not let me buy the item for the sale price. I asked to speak to the manager and she also would not let me have the item for the sale price that one of her employees had marked wrong. I asked for an email for their owner and they wouldn’t give it to me. Instead I gave them my contact information and they seemed caring enough to give it to the owner, but I haven’t gotten a call and have a feeling that I never will. I guess they just wanted me out of line so they could make more money on boxing day.
Why is this company caring so little about customer service and so much about money? If they were smart they would realize that good customer service is the best way to money, not the opposite. I guess they don’t know the term goodwill and that I’ve told basically everyone I know and also others I don’t even know about how badly I was treated.
Jean machine, you saved $15 on not letting me buy the shirt but you would have made a lot more if I was happy and told people where I would have gotten it. Instead, now you will lose business because I will continue to tell my story.
You should look at who keeps you in business and treat your customers right.
