Kiehl’s Canada is offering a free Kiehl’s starter kit when you return an empty cosmetic jar. This is in honour of earth day and will run April 16th to 28th.
These tend to run out fairly fast, so do your recycling early to make sure you receive your kit. All recycled items are sent to Cascades Recovery to create flower pots, park benches & tables.
The Fine Print
Offer valid from April 16th to 28th, 2013 at Kiehl’s free-standing stores in Canada. One per customer. While quantities last.
does it have to be from their stores? or any brand?
And what do they consider to be a “cosmetic jar”? Do they mean my old blush container? Or do they mean creams and such? Does anyone know how picky they are about it?
Shannon, last year it really depended on the store but I brought in a full size night cream jar from a freebie I was sent to sample
Got this last year =)
It’s a very generous offering with very little effort needed.
Last year, I brought in empty shampoo bottles & they were good with those.
Hope it’s just as good this time.
If you have questions, you should ask them at Kiehl’s CANADA facebook.
They’ll answer in a timely manner.
I emptied out my Eliz Arden night cream into a Ziploc bag and brought the jar in. I got a nice sample bag after they tested some stuff on my skin (to determine what skin type I was so that they could give me the right bag).
Funny within the last week I finished off a foundation and lipgloss but they already made their way to the recycle bin. I found an empty serum bottle I hope that counts and I’m just about finished a bottle of eau de parfum.
