It’s that time of the year again and McDonald’s Canada has come out with its Valentine’s Day Coupon Booklet. The booklet can be purchased from participating McDonald’s location for $1. Typically, the coupons are given out to children at school to celebrate Valentine’s Day but they can be redeemed anytime until August 31, 2016. This is a good deal considering the value of the items is equivalent to approximately $7.
The booklet costs $1 and consists of 6 coupons:
- 2 small coffees
- 2 cookies
- 1 ice cream cone
- 1 small fries
The small coffees can be redeemed by people over the age of 16; however, the last four coupons are for children under the age of 12. Whether the age rule is a factor for adults is generally up to the cashier working.
The coupons expire on August 31, 2016.

I called my local McDonald’s and none of them have any and don’t even know about it.
Flawed by design. Who gives coffee coupons to kids. Perhaps they recalled this poor concept since nobody can find these anywhere.
Apparently it’s only available at corporate locations not franchises…at least this is what I am reading online.
The coupon booklets are always available at select locations. Even then, the one near me only does some of them and not all of the ones advertised
Why advertise when none of the local McD’s have them? If they are promoting this, then at least show which restaurants have them.
Local McDonalds doesn’t have them and doesn’t accept them.
Called several in my area. None of them have them in stock. I was quite excited about this promo, I could benefit from the coffee coupons and give the rest to kids around my neighbourhood.
I Called a least 10 in the Hamilton, ont area. None have them. Has anyone found any?
I know the one in Jackson Square always used to have them, but now that they are gone, no idea. Mall ones often do though
I think the whole get two coffee’s thing is silly because what kid drinks coffee and people will just throw it out.
Disappointing, my little girl went to McDonalds excited to use a coupon to get her free fries only to be told the coupon couldn’t be used because the McDonalds we were at wasn’t participating in it. The coupon says Saskatchewan and we were in Moose Jaw, saskatchewan. Really!?!?!
