I don’t think this is what Swiss Chalet intended. You normally get a recipt at the end of your meal right? Well, on that receipt holds the check # and blah blah, then you go to http://www.swisschaletfeedback.com and answer a short survey about your dining experience at Swiss Chalet. In return, they give you the SC34**** number code, and then you can get a free starter. The way you just described is just scamming the system. Sorry, but no thanks. I order from Swiss Chalet often enough and answer the survey to get the free starter and on more than one occasion, my code has been “already used.” More than likely by someone who “played around with the numbers until it worked.”
I really don’t think this should have been posted. Some of this freebie sh*t is going too far.

It’s gone beyond scamming the system, but now you are suggesting stealing from another (possible SCer) person.
Oh my goodness! This is just NOT RIGHT! Smart Canucks don’t have to scam to get things for a deal! I have been visiting this site less lately because of the ridiculousness of some areas, and this blog post is just WRONG. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s ILLEGAL.

Definatly not cool for the people who took the time to complete the survey and then can`t use thier code, I wouldn`t do it.. Although Swiss Chalet could`ve done more to stop this kind of abuse.. It seems pretty obvious really.

I just ordered from Swiss Chalet and even did the survey but I wont be ordering again with in the next 30 days to use the code. so here is a one time only code for someone in Canada “SCO14397” again this is a one time only code so please if you try it and it doesn’t work I’m sorry but don’t get mad at me.

You ar arguing over FREE!!!! stuff that shouldn’t even have gotten!! Pathetic i feel sorry for swiss chalet because it’s not their fault so don’t bother them. it’s wrong to give it out but there are bad people in this world so just don’t make two wrongs.
Did anyone take a moment to think this over – this could all be a ploy by SC to increase their online ordering. People like to get stuff they shouldn’t have got for free all the time. Bet tons of people got here by searching for a “coupon”. Just a clever advertising gimmick. Don’t you think that they could secure this quite easily? Really, they want you to do it and they’re not losing anything from it at all.
Keep in mind you can’t just order the “free” appetizer…
