Yoo Hoo!!! I missed this promotion!!! Tazo Chai is really good!! =)

I really like the Vanilla Rooibos tea latte but without the syrup added.

  3. Twinmommy

It would be awesome if they could offer this deal once a month. I took advantage of this offering the last time they ran it and it was simply delightful!

  4. Sarah

This is a great deal considering they raised their tea prices when they switched to full leaf tea bags.
My favorite is the Earl Grey tea latte with vanilla syrup — delicious!

  5. cheapy

Love the vanilla rooibos tea, tried the tea latte last time and it was super sweet! Why don’t they tell you they put syrup in it?!? I should have brought it back, I’m sticking to regular tea…

  6. MyBuddy

Thanks OP !! — I agree that the syrup makes it too sweet, so try it unsweetened first.

  7. Anita

The Starbucks I go to doesn’t put syrup unless you ask, I ordered the Earl Grey one last time & it didn’t taste like London Fog at all because they didn’t add any vanilla syrup.

  8. GiGi

I always get the Green Tea Lattes. I’m stoked they brought this promotion back. :D

  9. Amanda

FYI, the standard for all tea lattes is to include the syrup (2 pumps=short, 3 pumps=tall, 4 pumps=grande 5 pumps=venti). It’s usually the classic syrup that’s used (basically a sugar water), however, the Earl Grey Tea latte is made with vanilla and the Chai Tea latte is already a syrup base. If you don’t usually put sweetener/sugar in your tea, I’d say get it half sweet, or unsweetened. Also note, if you want a Chai or Green Tea latte made with a tea bag, you’ll have to ask for it specifically since they are made with chai concentrate or matcha powder, respectively.

I would personally suggest a half sweet, no water, chai tea latte. It’s delicious!

  10. Lindsay

@Amanda — FYI: I was told the promotion was only for the lattes made with tea bags (so the chai tea latte made with the concentrate and the green tea latte with the powder were not included).

@Lindsay — I’m not sure about this time around, but for the same promotion in January, I ordered a green tea latte with the discount with no problem. The cashier even made sure I knew about the 50% off before he rung my order in :)

  12. melis84

I always got chai lattes with the half price discount last time, the cashier even let me know before I paid. Also, I ask for my chai latte “half sweet” so they only put half the syrup in, and it’s delicious.

  13. Amanda

@Lindsay– The Chai Latte and Green Tea Lattes are all included. (I’m a supervisor at Starbucks)

But to quote their Tazo Tea Time Facebook page:

There’s something so rich about a Tazo® tea latte — it’s a warm, naturally beautiful treat that brightens your whole afternoon. And now you can try one for half-price, any size and any flavour, during Tazo® Tea Time at Starbucks.
Choose from the following: Awake, Vanilla Rooibos, Earl Grey, Green or Chai.”

However, you can also get a ‘Custom Tea Latte’ and get any type of tea.

What’s the normal price of a tazo tea anyways? I hardly goto Starbucks. thanks

  15. Kimie

Tazo Chai — regularly grande is 4.69 and tall i believe is around 3.50 or so… =)

  16. Jay

can someone kindly clarify if the shaken iced tea lattes are included in the promotion… i never get a straight answer on this one! the green tea one is the one i am eyeing for :)
