Last week, I stepped into a Talize and left rather unimpressed. I didn’t like how the housewares were merchandised. It looked like a garage sale. And some of racks of clothing items were hiked waaay too high for me to reach! In addition, the prices weren’t all that cheap, same as Value Value, but disorganised.

I was in London’s last week. I could reach everything and it was neat. HOWEVER asking $29.99 for used jeans is ridiculous! They had 5-10 on everything Old Navy, when you can buy that NEW on sale for that.

Very sad that these used places think that it’s ok to charge these amounts.

I have been to the one in London also to get maternity clothing and found lots for very cheap like $7.00 with the 50% off on top of that

I think it will vary from location to location. Although I have seen the stupidly high prices on Old Navy stuff as well. Or Walmart George clothing too.

I understand these places need to make money as well, but putting prices so close to new prices is silly.

Does anyone know what items are pink and purple tags? Does this include children’s clothing and housewares?

I’ve got items from Marni, Gucci, Missoni, Ella Moss, Thakoon, Miu Miu, Rock and Republic, Juicy and Betsey Johnson from Talize dirt cheap(under 10.00). The thing about second hand places is that they only recognize mall brands, but designer labels they have no clue about so they all get priced really cheap because most of the workers has never heard of these brands. Some times on the 50% off days you can get mall brands really cheap but most of the time you’re better to wait for a sale at the mall and buy them new.

I thin talize is the biggest rip off going! They operate selling used goods like the Salvation Army and Goodwill, but they operate soley for profit! At least the others put something back into the community.
