Target is increasing their liquidation price cuts. Most items are now 30-50% off compared to the 20-40% previously offered.
They have not released a list of the new price cuts on each department, but what we know from the forums:
- DVDs/Blu-Rays 50% off
- Housewares 30% off
- Furniture 30% off
- Video games 30% off
- Toys 40% off
It looks like most items that were 20-25% off went up to 30% off and the others increase by 10% with the exception of the select elctronics and Apple products that are still at 10-15% off.
Sounds tempting, though I keep playing the waiting game and hoping to see things at 50-75% off (at which point perhaps the savings will all be maxed out and no further discounts will be made); hopefully everything is not sold out by then! I have been to the beautiful new Target here in Barrie (just opened last summer – so sad to see it go so soon!) and they still have plenty of stock left.
Stores were pretty empty at 10% discounts. Don’t think it is worth a visit.
Depends on the store, some have been getting deliveries of merchandise
According to their latest newspaper ad:
