Toronto Reference Library Summer Activities: See Films for FREE Including Brooklyn, The Big Short, and More!

The Toronto Reference Library wants you to take a break from the heat this summer and watch a FREE movie! Summer Afternoons at the Movies begins today, July 21, 2016 and runs until September 1, 2016. Film screenings are every Thursday afternoon at 2pm; check out the list of movies below so you can start planning! Keep in mind that no tickets are required so all you need to do to is simply show up!

  • July 21: Mustang
  • July 28: Son of Saul
  • August 4: The Lady in the Van
  • August 11: The Second Mother
  • August 18: 45 Years
  • August 25: Brooklyn
  • September 1: The Big Short

    The movie lineup could appeal to Mississauga residents able to daytrip to Toronto as the Mississauga library system is closed while part-time staff strike for better wages.
