In the new Toys R Us flyer, starting on October 1 and running thru the 7, they have a great deal on the Wii.  They have the priced reduced to $149 (which is a savings of $60) and you also get a $20 gift card towards your next purchase.  The gift card would be great to get a game with!  If you’re thinking of buying a Wii for Christmas this may be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Thanks to cesme77 for posting the Toys R Us flyer for us.

Good deal. I wonder if this means they have a new system coming out before Christmas

This is the older version of Wii, it does not include Wii Sports Resort as the newer models available in black currently offer. Still a very good deal, I’ve been keeping an eye out for a Wii deal for my girls for Christmas, this is definitely the best deal I have seen for this package

This is not that great of a deal. The new one has Wii Sports Resort ($59.99) and the motion plus controller ($24.99). Even if you used the gift card towards the purchase of the sports resot game, you’re still about $215. The pricing should go down on the Wii Sports Resort system shortly to combat the sales of the Playstation 3 Move.

Walmart has a one and you get wii sports resort, wii sports, wii motion plus, 1 wii remote and 1 wii nunchuk for $209

TRU also has accessories 25% off this week so use the GC for a motion plus adapter($19). Or price match the walmart sale for Wii Remotes + Motion plus (Black, Pink, Blue) for $35. $165+tax gets you a Wii with 2 remotes, 1 nunchuck, and 1 motion plus. Not too shabby if you aren’t planning on picking up Sports Resort.

Everything is so positive with OPTR data right now, it’s a better play to be short into the document release because anything other than a boring briefing doc and the stock could slide. Their chances of approval seem strong though, and it’s a serious medical need. It seems to blow the competition out of the water on recurrance (equal on efficacy). Another way to play this would be a short of VPHM as it stands to lose a lot of market share if OPTR’s drug is approved.
