It’s here! SmartCanucks’ BIGGEST CONTEST GIVEAWAYS EVER! Every single weekday until 2010 I’ll be giving out atleast $100 worth of prizes daily!
After the success of the $10 daily contest giveaways we had earlier this year I decided to kick it up a notch… or ten… by giving out $100 daily instead! Of course I couldn’t afford that kind of money since I’m just a graduate student at Queen’s. So I decided to seek sponsors and I was surprised by the huge amount of interest I got. Many people were interested in sponsoring a contest day that we may end up going into January as well.
This contest is not your typical contest however! It’s fun fast and different! Here’s how it’ll work: Everyday we’ll have a contest and the winner(s) will be announced immediately the next day! There’s also another twist to this contest: You will win what you choose! To enter most contests you’ll need to leave a comment with a list of items you want to get! If you win you get these items for free.
You also have a good chance of winning since no person will be allowed to win more than 2 prizes throughout the span of the giveaways. This means that we’ll end up with loads of winners. Winners will be chosen randomly using random number generator.

You also ask for an opinion on the website… I think the site is user friendly and easy to navigate. I think it would be nice thought to have a section for “Trends” more of what’s current as opposed to viewing lists of personal designs that aren’t really meant for anyone else to purchase.

YAY!…I never knew that this site exsisted until I found on SmartCanuks…great exposure. Many great t’s to choose from. My most favourite is the one that says “Too sweet to be sour, too nice to me mean” (in lemon women’s L)..it describes me to a T! (no pun intended) . The site was easy to navigate. I had some problem with the website’s buttons when I was browsing the designs… I couldn’t use the “highly rated” filter
also, there seems to be a bug with this particular t-shirt…
cuz if i select the design, the default is brown in color…
but if i click on another color… the chocolate color can never be selected again because it’s not one of the choices…

I would pick the Happy Panda design. There are lots of cool T-shirts on the site and would agree that it is easy to navigate through. I just didn’t like in the design gallery, once you picked a design to look at closer, it wouldn’t put you back to the designs where you left off… you had to start at the beginning again.

My advice for the site is to make it easier to search multiple categories: Example, instead of just searching Baby, would be nice if there were categories like Baby - Funny, Baby- My Mom…, Baby - My Dad…, etc.

I really like this website, but found it very time consuming to browse the t-shirts even with the existing categories. okay so i like the tshirts for kids so I took a look at something for my son…his whole room theme is sesame street…he owns more sesame street than any child I have ever seen!! Have a few suggestions
1. when scrolling through the catagories (i was in art and design catagory) it would be nice to be able to skip to the next page from the bottom instead of having to scroll all the way back to the top.
2. I agree with the price subject. Seeing the prices before they are put in the shopping cart would be nice.

Someone mentioned the price of the tee not showing up before you add it to the cart….it does, at least for me.
There are so many designs to choose from, it would take a while to go through it all. I think they need more categories…like “relationships” or “family” or “parents” or something less general.

Feedback for site: When you click on a design thumbnail to view and then decide to click “back” to return to the main menu gallery, it’s annoying that you don’t return to the last selection you were just viewing. Currently it takes you to the default page and you end up losing the spot where you last left off. Not as user friendly when someone wants to browse through the collection.

This is a cute online t-shirt store. This design by Saskberry farms cracked me up: “are vegetarians allowed to eat animal crackers?” Haha! For size-Youth size M (10) in the Natural Color American Apparal T.
Thanks a lot! Oh, and I love on the website the category selector and how, when you look at a category, other subcategories are listed. Very user-friendly! My only suggestion? There should be a category for, and more shirts available with, pro-vegetarian slogans. It’s a great message!

I’d suggest more categories. Will make it easier to browse through all the designs. And the designs don’t look sharp, or maybe it’s just my browser. But it makes it harder to see what it’ll actually look like on a shirt.

I got a real laugh out of the “Beware of dog” tshirt. Not to mention, John Deer is across the road from my office, and where I live people go hunting! I love this one! Please let me wear it. Oh “hazardous” with the mouse is also cool, but I still love “Beware of dog”
The website is good. Never heard of it til now but I bookmarked it. I found it a little slow to initially load but once it did everything went smoothly. very easy to browse the selections. Would love to be able to get a Dane Cook BAMF tshirt made up.

Some things i noticed about the site…
Viewing the gallery is a little difficult. It’s nice to be able to flip through shirts, but when I click on one I’m interested in, getting back to the page I was at in the gallery is tedious.
Also the search feature was a little wonky for me. I tried searching for the shirt I liked, but I couldn’t seem to find it through searching, even with advanced settings.

The site was easy to use. Navigation was organized so finding T-shirts that I would like was quite simple with the use of the “search by category” tool. Also the blog feature is great since people will keep visiting the site. The only thing I didnt like much was the gallery, if I click a shirt I’m interested in and then decide to look at others I’m taken to the beginning of the gallery when I click back.

They have A LOT of choices
I don’t like that I can’t open and view a shirt closer in a “new tab” or “new window” and that when I do open it to take a closer look and then go back to the previous page - my specific search results are gone - it brings me back to the homepage I guess - and then I have to restart my search!
They also need to add prices - maybe have a “sale” section that always attracts people’s attention - otherwise selection is great - I like that you can do a fairly specific search (seeing as there are soooo many shirts) but I just don’t like that my search is gone once I’ve clicked to view a product.
My pick would be an infant creeper size 6 months in pink that says Daddy’s Girl with a flower logo on it.
We are expecting our firstborn early next year and have been searching for a “Daddy’s Little Girl” shirt but have not come across anything in stores.

It’s a nice website, the designer application is pretty good. It would be nice to be able to change the colour of clip art. The site was running a little slow for me after a while.

There’s lots of awesome designs! It’ll be good if each design had an ID number to associate to so that you can easily search for it later. The interface is easy to use. The design lab took a little getting used to, but once you play around a bit it’s pretty simple.

I would love to design my own v-neck woman’s t-shirt, not too sure about how to link it onto this comment though.
I would suggest allowing more places to add designs onto the t-shirts (ie: on the sleeves, on the ribcage, near the bottom of the t-shirt) because at the moment we can only design the mid-front or top right corner of the t-shirts.

Pre-designed:
Even vague categories would be useful it was tedious to go through so many that were clearly not to my taste
I liked that several pages loaded at once, made scrolling faster.
When scrolling through the premade ones if I click on one to see what it looks like on a shirt and then go back it takes me to the start of the list and I have to scroll through again. It annoyed me. Return me to where I left the list.
T-shirt designer
I am not the creative sort, Having suggestions on how to start would be super useful:for example style categories - like a choose your own adventure, then lead me to text and then to clip art specific to that style - I can get to the other stuff if I want but I’m not overwhelmed by a list of every single piece of clipart you have. I gave up after 2 minutes or less. I’m not the inspired sort I guess.

The designs are varied and I liked quite a few of them. I like the whole designing your own aspect in principle. I’m vain- its really all about the v-neck T, scoop necks are sooo not flattering. But you offer only one v-neck option and it doesn’t come in black (?!?!)

Your design your own T-shirt is very cool! Nice web-site, nice concept.I happen to be a nature girl…so I’d probably want to see more of that or maybe I missed it. Trees/leaves, birds, butterflies, animal foot prints, beach/seagulls, camping scenes…that kind of stuff.
You asked & I’m opinionated.
But since you could make up your own design and since I’m an artist I’d probably want to show one of my paintings & add words like…”Starving Artist for hire!” or my e-mail address with my painting. Or print one of my environmental poems on a shirt.That would rock my world.In a Ladies X-large or Men’s Large in white so everything shows up well. Thanks for the great offer.

ooh neat! I think I would go for a custom shirt, because honestly I could barely get any pictures to load. As scary as it is, some people are still forced to survive on dial up (slow, disgusting dial up.) Maybe you could offer an alternative slower connection site?

I’d love the custom t-shirt! One question I had though that I couldn’t find an answer to on the site - if I upload my own design, can I have the option of the design NOT being added to the gallery? One suggestion (almost like the No Frills Website Flyer Idea/ or even Amazon.ca) - Everytime i pick one I like, it would be nice to place them all in a viewable area (like recently viewed, etc) so that I can return at the end to make my final decisions.
