I don’t believe there is a link…you just have to register to receive their newsletter, and fill out a pet profile before the end of the offer end date. If you read the Terms and Conditions it is stated there.

Thanks Boo, sorry I didn’t see the Terms and Conditions when I originally signing up for the newsletter.

Oh, okay, thanks. I did register — I’ll see if I got a newsletter.

It is my pet peeve that so many people pay so little attention to what they feed their pets. I love freebies but would never feed such a low quality food to my dog.

Despite the premium price, I have not seen a food with lower quality ingredients. There are many equally low-quality foods available, but none as expensive as Science Diet. For the same price you can find foods which use only quality meats and carbohydrates and little or no grains, such as Orijen, which is Canadian owned and made and uses fresh, whole, and local ingredients.

Hills uses only low-quality ingredients like cheap grains, meat by-products, fats of unidentified origin, “natural flavour” (this is actually animal poo), fragments and fillers, many of which are potntially harmful to your pet.

Below is a link to one of the more popular Science Diet foods from a very informative site. It receives a 1-star rating on a scale of 6 only because they could not rate it any lower:

In contrast, take a look at the review of Orijen, a similarly priced 6-star food, and compare the ingredients:

    http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/showproduct.php?product=915&cat=all

This is just one example, but there are many more foods rated on that site and any 5 or 6 star food will offer your pet so much more nutrition than Science Diet or the hundreds of other
1 or 2 star foods (which most of the big dog food brands fall under).

    I support Brooke on his/her analysis. Hill’s isn’t a good pet food.

Orijen, on the other hand, is a top-rated pet food. As said, it is Canadian made.

If I can find this coupon, I plan to donate it to a shelter or put at the food bank. I wouldn’t feed this to my dogs, but some dogs out there get worse.…so if nothing else, get this and donate it. :)
