Here’s the full Walmart Canada Anniversary Sale flyer. This sale is On September 26 in Quebec. In Ontario and most other provinces it starts on Friday, September 28 and lasts until October 6, 2007. But check your local Walmart store cuz it may start one day earlier at some stores.

Some of the prices are slighty higher in Alberta. Here the Tide was $5.77 and the cookies were $1.94.

Would never shop at any Walmart. I don’t think they are a fair employer and as a company they have encouraged North American manufacturers to offshore in third world countries.
Slave labour conditions exist in these counrties with men, women and children working 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, while earning 25 or 30 cents an hour.
We need to support companies that show social responsibility and I feel this company [Walmart] does not.

While it’s true that the working conditions are horrible, keep in mind that the jobs provided by American corporations are still better and higher paying than the jobs they could find. I mean, that’s the real reason they flock to these jobs. Also, while the pay seems ridiculous by our standards, some of them can make end’s meet with their cost of living being much lower than ours.
