This is from personal experience, they don’t give you $50 that easily
I have called about like 5 times to get it (sometimes Bell reps didn’t even know about the promotion)
In the end, I cancelled with Bell, signed up with Rogers cable promotion (which did not give me $200 GC but $100 only), so cancelled that, and just signed up with TekSavvy. Heard nothing but great things about TekSavvy, and it’s only $30/month (vs $35 for Bell and $50 for Rogers)
I got mine without any phone calls.
I dont hv a SPC card, but thinking to get one for 10 bucks and then get 50 off from Sympatio, with net PROFIT of 40 bucks …

I applied for an SPC card online(I’m not a student but it didn’t seem to matter) just to get the $50 credit on Sympatico. It cost $10 but then you get a $10 Esprit certificate and about 2 months later Bell deducted the $50 off my bill. Awesome deal.
I used my son’s card to get mine.
