The American grocery chain Whole Foods has made the decision to close two of their Toronto-based locations, and this will be happening rather quickly. A representative for Whole Foods says that these closures will happen by August the 22nd, and that they are committed to making any transitions for their employees as seamless as possible.
A new location is planned for the end of year, and will open in the King Street West neighbourhood. For now, the Whole Foods Market Yorkville and Markham location will continue to operate.
