omg. 15%? What a bargain. Now it’s only slightly more than overpriced instead of being grossly overpriced. Does that mean I now can afford to buy the customer service package?
I am disgusted with Air Canada… WestJet has the same promo right now, advertised first, and Air Canada is matching their deal with an apology!!! Ikd much rather fly on WestJet where the staff is at least friendly!
Two words….Open Skies.
Then we’ll see real competition.
That 15% promo comes a few times a year with Air Canada. i’m not sure it’s related to the strike.
Actually, come to think of it, i used this coupon to fly to china, around the same time two years ago.
It ain’t over yet. The workers need to vote on the deal.
Wow 15%! Will they also take 15% off my 1st piece of luggage price too?! How kind of them………..
FLY WEST JET BEST AIRLINE EVER
As usual with these 15% off deals, they jack the price up to get people to buy at the regular price.
The prices presented after taking 15% off are still MORE expensive than the “standard” prices set for typical purchases. Nonsense.
I prefer Porter over Westjet and AC (for short-distance flights).
But don’t expect a meal, that was counted into the 15%.
We need some fair pricing / competition for air travel in Canada. I travel often and a flight Toronto > Vancouver is $600-%800, flight from Buffalo to Seattle = $350.
West Jet is better.
West Jet lets you have your first bag free.
To travel to Florida, Air Canada’s cheapest flight takes you from Toronto to TEXAS (Whaaa!) to Florida. Westjet takes you directly to Florida.
Westjet also has Blue Thursday deals too.
Since I have no choice other than to fly Air Canada (I am Argentinean and do not have a US visa so I can’t even transfer planes in the US and the only direct Canada-Argentina flight is Air Canada) and was looking to buy a flight in the next few weeks this timing worked out well for me. I was able to take advantage of the 15% off in October of last year when I moved up to Canada, as well.
All I got was 5% for not having my tv working on my flight. If they’re giving 15% off just for the heck of it I should’ve gotten at least 20 or 25% off.
