Space: Above and Beyond: The Complete Series is available today at Amazon.ca for over 85% off the original price; meaning that all you will pay is a measly $6.99 for a series which normally sells for $49.98.
Space: Above and Beyond is a series created by the same writers behind the cult favourite X-Files, and though it only appeared for one brief season during 1995-1996, the audience met the cancelling of this with great despair. The show follows Marine pilots who are facing a war against alien invaders through a 23-episode series, each segment running about an hour.
There are still a fair number of this series left in stock at Amazon.ca, but at this price they probably won’t last for long!

This is a fabulous series, way ahead of its time. But sadly will never see a high-def treatment. But a great series at this price.
Although, noting that if this is the same 5-disc set I bought back when it was originally releast, you may have playback problems. There was a mastering issue with these and I had to have Fox replace a couple of discs. I say give them a once through as soon as you get them to be sure.
