Bookcloseouts has made me happy again! From November 2-December 31 they are giving us all the gift of FREE shipping. Your order must be at least $35 after discounts and coupons to qualify and you will have to choose free shipping from the drop down menu when you place your order. I find that $35 is pretty easy to reach with Bookcloseouts and you get so much for your $35 too. Time to get some books for Christmas.
For those unfamiliar with Bookcloseouts, they are a Canadian company but prices are in US dollars. There is no duty charge on your orders because they ship from within Canada.

This is so sweet, you just beat me to it!
I love when they do free shipping! Great minds think alike!
I love bookcloseouts, although I might just order kids stuff because my shelves are bursting with bookcloseout items i still need to read…
🙁 I just placed an order 4 days ago…wish I’d waited now
I’ve done that so many times!
I just ordered last week too – order landed in my mailbox today 🙁
On a positive note, it included a really nice $7.00 one time use coupon – so I’m not going to complain. Shall head back for more xmas goodies now!!
Use coupon code brickcity-5 and password bookcloseouts.com for an extra $5 off your order of $35 or more. In order to get the free shipping though, you need $35 worth AFTER coupon code is applied so get at least $40 of stuff to get the $5 off AND free shipping.:)
what is the code November2010 for?
So I tried your code and it says discount applied but it does not take off the 5.00?
Also is everyone charge a 1.00 handling charge?
Found a code that worked:
WinnerPro-5
Thanks for posting the code for the extra $5 off, Linda!
It made up for the taxes and $1 handling charge!
Winnnerpro-5 works great, password is bookcloseouts.com
(must have 40 in cart at least to get promo and free shipping)
I got 15 kids book, 5 of those are boxed sets for kids I have to buy for for xmas… grand total of (drum roll)
$38.
$1 handling fee, but who cares.
ordered 11 books with the free shipping totaling $55, however the next time I order I won’t use the free shipping cause it states it will take 21 business days to arrive.
Oh Mitch it always quotes some ridiculous time frame when you use the free and or standard shipping. Mine said the same, was mailed out Thursday and delivery is Monday, even though they said “21”
Track Status
Product Type: Expedited Parcels
Expected Delivery : 2010/11/08
total amount of $ **** in US funds will be charged to your account today. Your order is now being
shipped and should arrive within 21 business days
🙂 I think they quote the 21 days for our fine feathered friends south of the border.
MIne came in a few days
Thank you all! I just placed an order for $47 and used the promo code for $5 off. It paid for the handling fee and taxes plus a little more! You guys save me SO MUCH MONEY it’s unbelievable! I can’t thank you all enough!!!!!!!
If these books are shipped inside Canada, WHY THE HELL ARE WE PAYING IN U.S. DOLLARS. Last time I checked, we were still CANADA not the United States.
Also, we have to pay 18% H S T and handling charges on these book. ARE YOU NUTS, why not just go to a store here in Canada and pay in Canadian Funds and carry the books home.
Holy moly Sandra, calm down!
First of all its in USD because their main clients are from the USA. With the CDN dollar so close to the USD who cares.
2nd of all its so much cheaper to order on here then to go into a book store. When Im paying $2.99 for a book thats priced at $32.99 in store theres no need to even do the math.
Your griping about a $1.99 one per order handling fee?
18% hst? Who what where when why? I’ve never been charged anything like that.
Check your packing invoice!
One book that I ordered wasn’t available, and when they recalculated the total, they added shipping charges.
I had to email them to correct it and they said that there was a glitch where if there was a change in the order shipping charges were added.
They did a quick refund.
Lindsay – when I had items shorted, they still gave me the free shipping, or dollars off, whichever it was.
Their customer service is amazing!
Wow! I’m in school for Graphic Design and just got 4 books for $40 (Regular price $220) THANK YOU!! 🙂
