I got my free iPod Nano from TD Canada Trust bank today 🙂 🙂
It was delivered via Canada Post’s Xpresspost but I don’t think they attempted delivering it to my house. I got a notice in the mail and went to pick it up from the nearest Post Canada office (which in my case was in Shoppers Drug Mart). The package was smaller than I expected and it had a sealed white iPod Nano as well as a small thank you letter from TD bank. Photos of the packaging below.
Since I already bought an iPod Video last year I’m not sure of what to do with the iPod Nano. Any suggestions?
If you’re interested in in detailed explanation of getting a free iPod Nano or shuffle from TD check out Alexelder’s detailed TD iPod guide here.
Did you get your iPod from TD yet? Please let us know when you do 🙂

An interesting and hopefully useful freebie. Get a free in-office trial of O2 Optix the breathable contact lenses.
I wear glasses all the time (except when sleeping) and wouldn’t mind giving these free trial contact lens a shot… but I doubt that it will motivate me to buy contact lens. I just feel more comfortable wearing eye glasses.
Your eyes need oxygen to stay healthy and comfortable. But soft contact lenses create a barrier to the natural flow of oxygen between your eyes and the air around them. O2OPTIX provides high oxygen transmissibility, helping to keep eyes whiter and healthy-looking. It is the healthy choice for daily or occasional overnight wear.

This is very interesting! It’s the first time I come across high cash back returns on a credit card. The Platinum Advantage Master Card from Canadian Tire actually gets you 0.5%, 1%, 3%, or even 5% cash back on your total purchases based on the following chart:

Unfortunately this card has an annual fee of $99 but if you use your credit card frequently your cash backs will quickly cover your annual fee costs. This platinum card is definitely a sizzling hot deal for some and a normal deal for others.
You can find more details here
You can apply here
If you’re a moderate credit card user and would like to avoid paying annual fees check out this Canadian Tire Advantage Master Card. It offers only up to 3% cash back but you pay $0 in annual fees! Thanks BatCave for letting me post this.
