Hot Canada Deals

This is possibly the hottest price you will find on the recently released Best of Warner Bros. 100-Film Collection, as the closest comparable price was back during Black Friday sales when the set was being sold for $249.99, which is still $86 more expensive than the current reduced price of $163.99. This full collection features 100 films from the past century, all of which are borough to you by one of the world’s largest film studios.

The box collection features 100 films, all of which are offered in both English and French (meaning they technically have 200 films), 2 documentaries on the Warners Bros. lot, hours of behind-the-scenes commentary, plus a limited edition 27” x 40” poster.
Some of the movies included in this 55-disc set, as I cannot list all of them, but here is a preview of some of the films I thought would excite most of our readers:
- Gone With the Wind (Best Picture Winner)
- Wizard of Oz
- The Philadelphia Story
- Citizen Kane
- Casablanca (Best Picture Winner)
- An American in Paris (Best Picture Winner)
- A Streetcar Named Desire
- Rebel Without Cause
- Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
- 2001: A Space Odyssey
- Cabaret
- Clockwork Orange
- One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Best Picture Winner)
- Caddyshack
- Risky Business
- The Color Purple
- Goodfellas
- Shawshank Redemption
- The Matrix
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
- Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- The Notebook
- Million Dollar Baby (Best Picture Winner)
- and much more!
When you calculate the cost of each movie in this box set, it works out to being less than $2 a movie at just $1.64/film.
Amazon.ca will also ship this box collection for free since it is over the $25 minimum.
This deal will only be around for another 18 hours, but the stock is not guaranteed to last until then.

Every month at the Home Depot Canada, they host a Saturday workshop event for children that is used to teach kids how to use simple tools and in the end they will see how those tools can create wonderful gifts, or even toys! The next month’s workshop is being held on Saturday, April 11th at 11am and in this workshop kids will learn how to make their very own Chalkboard Planter Stand!

These workshops held by the Home Depot are free and are open to all children who are between the ages of 4-12. Everything about this workshop is free, as all of the necessary tools will be supplied by the Home Depot’s team leaders. You will need to attend this event with your child, and you will also have to RSVP to the event to secure their spot in the free workshop.
This event will last approximately 2 hours, and in the end your child will be able to take home their very own creation.

Since today is the last day for the promo code, SPRING30, to be offered at Forever 21 Canada, which will provide you with an extra 30% off on sale items, the additional one-day offer of Forever 21 providing free-shipping on all orders that exceed $21 could not have come at a better time. You can stack both of these offers from Forever 21 by simply entering in the corresponding promo codes at checkout; the SPRING30 will give you the extra 30% off and the FREE21 will provide you with the free-shipping offer.

We posted about how great the selection was in this extra 30% off sale section at Forever 21 the other day, but when you combine this offer with the free-shipping offer the deals go from being categorized as ‘good’ to ‘great’. If you’re looking for some warmer weather finds in the sale, I was able to find a cute pair of floral print denim shorts for just $9.79, though they were originally being sold for $21.80. Alternatively, if you just want to pick up a flirty top for the weekend, then Forever 21 has a great selection of shimmery camisoles and ornate beaded tops that will only cost you between $10-$20.

Carter’s OshKosh Canada is having a limited time offer where they will be bringing online shoppers the opportunity to get their shipping and handling for free. This offer requires no promo code, and no minimum spend amount, simply add the products you would like to your cart and the discount of $8 (which is how much standard shipping is) will be applied to your cart. Be warned though, this offer is finishing up by the end of today, so if you are at all interested in taking advantage of this free-shipping offer you had better get your order in before 11:59pm EST.

If you’re curious about where the best deals are, I’d suggest starting within the clearance section, as there are discounts to be found in every size and department. I, however, was looking within the new arrivals section for baby boys and found this adorable 3-piece hooded cardigan set for just $15. Granted the pants that are included in this set are shorts, meaning your little boy won’t be able to break this set out just yet. The remaining cardigan and body suit are quite seasonally appropriate and could be worn now with a more practical pair of pants until the warmer weather is more forgiving for short season.

For those of you looking for a fun and inspired way to get in shape, but would rather not spend an arm and a leg (no pun intended) on a gym membership, then you should check out this deal that Future Shop Canada has on the Nintendo Wii U game, Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013 (Used). This game is normally sold for $12.99 when it is brand new, but right now if you purchase the game used from Future Shop you will only have to pay a fraction of that price, as it is just $2.99.

The Your Shape Fitness Evolved (2013) comes with 125 different workouts that all strive to increase your flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and overall strength. You can also use the personal trainer setting to customize a 4 week (or more!) workout plan for yourself. One of the added benefits to the Your Shape Fitness Evolved game, apart from it being significantly cheaper than buying a real life personal trainer, is that there is a sense of accountability demanded by the game, specifically when you join the online community. Through connecting with news feeds, online challenges and setting up competitions with your friends, you will find yourself more committed and driven to sticking with your workout than you would’ve been had you gone in alone.
This sale at Future Shop ends today, and there will be a limit of 3 games per household.

This weekend, March 27th-29th, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre will be hosting the annual 2015 Green Living Show where various retailers, chefs, and experts in the field of ‘green living’ will be setting up booths to chat about new practises and products that are available locally for green shoppers. There will also be visual and interactive attractions to check out, like the Maple Leaf Exhibit, the Maple Leaf Forever Auction, and even yoga shows that encourage participation from the audience! The best part about this convention is that you can attend the 2015 Green Living Show for FREE, by simply following these steps and registering before the limited number of free tickets are sold out.

You will first have to follow this link, where the cart will say that you have two tickets for a total cost of $30; ignore this cost as it will be discounted later. You will have to click ‘add to cart’ and then beside the information section where you fill out your name, you should see a box that asks for a promotional code. Enter in this box: NOWMAG8G11. Once you have entered the promo code, the cost should be reduced to $0 and should look like the above picture.

There are a limited number of these free tickets available to the 2015 Green Living Show, so I’d suggest you act on this deal fast if you want to secure yourself a spot for free!

As much as we humans enjoy a little treat every now and then, I’m sure you wouldn’t be surprised to learn that your little canine companion would also enjoy the occasional indulgence in something divine. And what could be more divine, in a dog’s eyes that is, than a bag full of treats from Beggin’ Strips Turkey & Bacon by Purina dog company?

These 170g bags of delicious bacon flavoured doggy treats are currently on sale at Walmart Canada for just $1 a bag! That’s over 50% off the regular price, as a 170g bag of Beggin’ Strips would normally sell for $2.74 on Walmart.ca.
And considering that Walmart Canada also offers free-shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase required, you could stock up on a few bags of these (I’m sure your pet won’t argue) and still only pay $1-$10, depending on how much you want to spoil your pet.

Sport Chek Canada is starting the spring 2015 season by giving you some awesome deals that will help get you outside and keep you dry while you partake in your various outdoor activities. The biggest deal they’re offering for you outdoor enthusiasts is a promotional card or online coupon valued at $60 for your next purchase that you will receive when y0u buy any bike worth $279.99 or more. This offer will be available until April 6th, and your $60 promo card will be redeemable until April 25th.

If you are heading out on some trails on your new bike in the foreseeable future, you will need the proper gear to do so. Sport Check Canada has a great sale on right now within their spring outerwear selection where you can save up to 40% off the original price. For instance, this men’s Columbia Watertight Shell Jacket is currently on sale for just $49.99 (regularly $89.99).

And if you are heading outdoors, you’ll know that one of your best protections against the ever changing weather would be to layer up with lightweight tees and hoodies so that you can quickly adjust to the unpredictable temperatures that spring tends to bring us. This men’s Nike Dri-FIT Touch in a heathered green would be ideal for layering as the dri-FIT material will wick away sweat from your body, but will be light enough to not slow you down on a long hike. Short sleeved tees are currently on sale for 25% off the regular price, meaning that a tee such as this one will only be $31.49.

Hoodies are currently on sale for 25% off the regular price at Sport Chek Canada, which would be an excellent layering option to wear over your short-sleeved tees on outdoor excursions. I was able to find this women’s long torso O’Neill Team Sweat Pullover hoody for just $44.99, and a men’s Burton Classic Mountain Pullover hoody for just $41.24 within this sale.
Sport Chek Canada will be running these sales until April 6th, 2015.

Groupon Canada is having a spring sale event where they will cover up to an extra 30% on your local Groupon offers, making the cost of some of these deals up to 95% off the retail value! This Groupon sale will only be available for two days only, as it will end at 11:59pm on March 26th and you won’t have to worry about entering the corresponding promo code, as Groupon has already calculated the discounts into the advertised price.

This is a great sale since local deals at Groupon can include everything from fitness classes, to a fixed price meal at a fancy restaurant in your area. One of the deals that I was able to find within the Groupon spring sale even included a discount on a dozen macaroons or cake pops from a local bakery in Markham, called SugarTiers. In this offer, I could save an extra $3 off on a dozen macaroons, making them only $16, or $2 off on a dozen cake pops, making them cost just $8.
There are of course a number of other deals where the 30% off discount will amount to quite a lot more, but there is definitely a great variety of the kinds of deals you can buy and the price points at which they’re being sold.

Sears Canada’s flash-sale today is great for those of you looking to make some minor superficial changes to your current bedroom and bathroom decor, as there are select pieces being sold for up to 50% off and within the blinds section you can save up to 25% off. Within the blinds section there is a variety of products to choose from, including curtains, drapes, sheers and much more.

Within the 50% off sale on bedding and bathroom accessories, I was able to find this queen sized wholeHome ‘Presecco’ Duvet Cover Set for just $104.99, though it is usually sold for $209.99. If you were looking to find some matching towels for your ensuite bathroom, should you wish to do a full room makeover, then you should check out these Cambridge ‘Keswick’ Ringspun Cotton Bath Towels, which are currently on sale for 60% off the regular price at just $9.99 for a full bath sized towel (regular $24.99).

Within the blinds sale at Sears, I was able to find these great blackout panels by wholeHome called the ‘Galaxy Stripe’ Blackout Panel. These panels are extremely efficient at blocking out the sunlight, which would be great for bedrooms that may suffer from too much natural light in the mornings. Normally, these 84-inch panels would sell for $64.99, but right now they are being sold for $32.49 and the 95-inch panels are being sold for $34.99 (regularly $69.99).
Sears Canada offers free-shipping on all orders that exceed $99, or you can opt to have your order shipped to the store for free.
