So..Im relatively new to this…and just read a little about checkout 51 and was just wondering how it works…I mean I got the gist of it…take a pic of the things they mention and they send you cash back…but how? do you link to your bank account, or do they send a check? I mean it just sounds too good…
They send you a cheque (and I personally know someone who has received and cashed their cheque and others SCers have too)
Why not just take the discount off at the checkout. Why bother to wait for a cheque that adds up to diddly squat!!
Because you can use it in combination with coupons! It’s essentially a double discount for a lot of items 🙂
Ronald…because the retailer isn’t a part of the process. They don’t need to know that you’re saving money. To do what you’re suggesting, each retailer would have to opt in, modify their checkout software, etc.
Diddly squat? I’ve redeemed $41.50 so far. Not bad considering many of the items I bought I also used coupons for. The coupons are the hassle part of the equation. Uploading the receipt from the comfort of home later on is easy.
Hm. Requires you to download app on your mobile. NOT going to happen.
Is this only for iPhone? Can I use my iPad?
