Cineplex Canada has recently announced that they are now offering free refills on pop and popcorn. The refill offer applies when you purchase a large popcorn or fountain drink. You can receive one free refill for each, on the same day, same visit to the theatre.

While you may now be saving money on snacks, unfortunately, your movie ticket will cost more. Cineplex has just raised movie ticket prices to keep up with inflation, and a general ticket is now $1 more at $16.

If you enjoy going to the movies there are still ways to save. The Family Favourites program continues with movies for $3.99 at select theatres on select Saturdays, and there is also the CineClub which allows you to purchase tickets for $9.99. At the cost of $109.98 a year, members will get 20% off snacks and a free movie ticket each month. There is also the gift card promotion on now, and you will get a holiday bundle of coupons when you purchase a $50 gift card.
