Door Open Toronto will be happening in a couple of weeks, giving you the opportunity to explore architectural, historical, cultural, and socially significant buildings for free. May the 24th and 25th from 10 am to 5 pm, get free admission to over 150 sites, including sports, music, theatre venues, and more.
For the first time in six years, Old City Hall and Don Jail at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital are part of the event, and you will be able to access areas that are not typically open to the public. There are also walking tours and special programming for this event, and the theme for this year is “play.” Here are some of the locations that are a part of this year’s event:
- St. Peters Estonian Lutheran Church
- Manor Road United Church
- The Toronto Camera Club
- Fire Station 131
- Canadian Film Centre at Windfields Estate
- Todmorden Mills
- Japanese Canadian Culture Centre of Toronto
- Q4 Architects Studio
- Evergreen Bricks Works
