Get a BufferBox Address (GTA) Free *Limited Time*

bufferbox-open

We mentioned this some time ago, but I got the chance to try it out this week so thought I would update you on BufferBox who provide a mail pick-up & storage solution.  You all know what it is like to miss a delivery and try to get to the post office to pick it up.  Now GTA residents can ship to their BufferBox address (which is not a PO Box, they have a physical address and can sign for parcels) and then that evening the parcel will be moved to your chosen BufferBox locations for pickup (your address includes your unique code so they know which box to use).  BufferBoxes can be found in select GO stations, 7-Eleven stores and Sobeys stores.

I ordered from well.ca during their weekend sale and chose to ship to the Burlington BufferBox for free.  Shipping is usually overnight from well.ca to my address, but BufferBox had same day delivery!   I received a notice that my parcel shipped in the morning, two hours later they updated my tracking to show the parcel was at their warehouse and then around 6pm it was moved to the GO Station for me to pick up on my way home.  They simply emailed me a PIN number to type on the touchpad screen you see above and the box popped open for me to take my parcel.

If you are like me and often miss deliveries, it is great to be able to pick up locally without a trip to the post office plus you can use it as an additional address (great for surprises or even freebies).  BufferBox is free for a limited time – no join or monthly fees and no shipment fees.  They promise to give at least a month’s notice once they set pricing levels – so use it soon!
