Green Man Gaming is offering a free copy of Mafia II or Civilization V for the PC (Steam downloadable) when you vote in this years Golden Joystick Awards.
Those who submit their votes at www.goldenjoystick.com will be able to register for a free game from GMG, in association with 2K Games, at https://goldenjoysticks.greenmangaming.com.
When claiming your free game from GMG make sure you enter your CVG email address (the one you used for voting), and then enter your GMG account login details. That’s how they verify you’ve voted. Please note that from the time you submit your votes it may take up to 48 hours to receive your free game.
Their site is absolutely getting hammered, so a lot of patience is required to get your votes in right now. Not to worry though as the voting doesn’t end for over a week.
Don’t do it, you’ll get stuck in an endless loop of submitting your votes, giving them your email, getting their email saying thanks and click here for your free game, then a webpage that says “it appears you haven’t voted yet, click here to vote.”
