Goodlife Fitness is having an open house from Nov. 15-21, 2010 where you can check out their facilities, chat with trainers, and meet other members. If you’re curious about Goodlife, it’s a good opportunity to see what they have to offer. I used to have a membership years, but didn’t bother renewing as it was a little on the pricey side, $53 a month. I bought an elliptical, workout bench, and free weights instead.

Interesting that this should be offered just in time to counter the opening of the new, upscale, two-story, two-pool, co-ed fitness centre called “The Athletic Club” on Innes Road in Orleans (Ottawa) tomorrow, November 16th! Check them both out and take your pick.
Where is a good place to buy exercise equipment? i.e. treadmill?, elliptical? and/or free weights?
