How To Free Ship
- Step 1: Pick what you’d like to buy, add to your cart, then select “My Cart”. Remember it has to be under 60 lbs, so sorry, no sofas.
- Step 2: Enter your postal code and click “calculate”.
- Step 3: If your purchase(s) is under 60 lbs, and your “delivery method” reads “parcel”, then your shipping total will be $0.00. Which means you’re good to go.

Certain restrictions apply. Not valid on previous purchases. Regular shipping fees still apply to truck deliveries and parcel deliveries over 60lbs. Free parcel shipping excludes remote locations with remote shipping charges. Offer valid on online orders only. Wow, I was SO excited when I saw this (we have no Ikea in our province), but then spent tons of time on the site – and NOT ONE item I would like to order is available through their site – just assorted kitchen/bathroom stuff. Gah, not impressed.
I know!! There was about 10 things I would have ordered, not one was available for online shopping
For enquiring minds a standard size Billy bookcase weighs 86lbs. 60lbs isn’t much, too bad: I would have ordered one today.
You all should check out the pillow! There is one going for 1.99$! And it is an average pillow, and with free shipping it is worth it. I bought just 5, and it came out with tax to 11.45$ but still worth the price!!!
When i first saw the free shipping ad, i was like you kidding right? then i read the print and instructions and decided i would not let this opportunity pass by, Being a huge ikea fan, the closet store to myself is North York- still a 48 minute drive by hwy. I was at the Ikea store just last week but forgot to pick up a few things that were fortunately able to be picked up online. I was disappointed however that not every single item was available for purchase online. my order total including shipping was in the grand total of 170 bucks CAD but with the offer of free shipping, i just couldnt pass up the deal. prob saved nearly 60-70 dollars on shipping alone. Oh yeah and what i picked up:
Expedit glass door unit, 4 Drona boxes in black, mulig valet stand and a few bedsheet items. overall I’m very happy with this offer as Ikea has never offered free shipping, kudos to Ikea!
Glad somebody was able to take advantage of this deal in a big way, Gabe and Shuga. If they run it again, I would like to see an increased weight limit so that you can order stuff you truly can’t fit in a car, maybe with half priced shipping if they can’t manage free. They would probably sell a ton of sofas, and bookcases too..
