It seems like Jim’s busy today so I’ll snatch that opportunity to make a McDonald’s Monday post I’ve been wanting to post for a few weeks now 😀
One of the burgers in the picture above is 12 years old (dating from 1996) and the other is fresh. Guess which one is the 12 year old burger!
I’d eat either! 🙂
Thanks for giving me a break on the McPosting. Just another great birthday present from Mr. Boo!
Did you ever see the “extras” on the DVD for Supersize Me? Where they did the “rotting” test for McD’s food? They had everything from burgers, fries and Filet-O-Fish in jars, and watched to see how long before they spoiled.
Ugh, the fries NEVER spoiled….Hyuah!
Aye aye aye scary… but not surprising unfortunately.
No clue. Which is which? The one on the right looks darker, so I am going to guess that one. Am I right?
Dizzy I thought so too! The one on the left is the old one!
what is really sad is that for some people even after seeing this…they will STILL EAT ONE…i stopped eating mcdonalds after supersize me came out. I’m glad too
Also the one on the left looks fresher to me. Can’t believe its the old one
The one on the left looks like it’s rotting…
Boo! omg that’s gross!!!!
ick…I just had supper, too…:P
The one under the wrapper is the old one.
And I bet they both taste the same.
But is McDonald’s food the only fast food that does this? I know Supersize Me gave McDonald’s a bad reputation (and for good reason, yes) but what about all the other fast food burger joints like Wendy’s, Burger King, etc.?
I never get these attacks on Mcdonalds, If I cooked a small patty like that it would be the same result, same as shoestring fries lmao.
How am I the first person to ask WHO KEEPS A BURGER FOR 12 YEARS!!!
when we moved to our house last year I found an old burger on top of kitchen cabinets in second kitchen (was rented to a questionable renter). I think it was burger king though, it did look like the one on the left but with some mustard and a bite mark. I was suprised it did not rott – just dried up, lol. Don’t ask how many backets of bleach went into that kitchen …. lol.
Lol Olena! How freaky!
HAHAHA that’s disgusting and hilarious
Ironically, 1996 was the last time I ever ate McDonald’s.
It was in Inverness, Scotland traveling through and decided on fast and easy after traveling through the previous night…so I blame sleep deprivation. Amazing to think that that my last hamburger could have survived the years.
how is that possible that there is NO mold of any sort. was it kept in an air tight container?
My guess is the one on the left is the old one.
well with all the chemicals and preservative, no mold or bacteria can possibly survive on that kind of enviornment! ..
why would you keep a hamburger for 12 years? thats rank!
I say the one on the right is the 12 yr old burger – the bun looks dry and almost rock like.
