Michaels Canada: Make-it Take-it Events for December 4, 2011 Decorate a Chef hat or Apron & Santa’s Sweets and Reindeer food

Michaels has 2 Make-it Take-it events happening this Sunday afternoon. From 1-3pm you can decorate a chef hat or apron when you purchase it. Next from 3-4pm  is the freebie where you can make Santa sweets and reindeer food. Ages 3 and up, while supplies last.

I can’t wait until my boys are old enough to bring to these classes. I have great memories of going with my dad to White Rose for their craft classes back in the day.

ohhhhh, White Rose – I so miss that store!

It was a rip-off. The kid’s aprons were $9 each. We didn’t participate. My kids were so disappointed, so we ended up buying a glue and paint wooden birdhouse and airplane for $1.50. I find $9 to be absurd for a child size apron.

Our aprons were only $3 each. We tried the santa’s sweets and reindeer treats first but it was really disorganized and the crafts were really kind of boring. The apron painting was fun though.
