There is a great discounted gift card deal at Sobeys Ontario and Foodland Ontario, where you can pick up Canadian Tire gift cards for 10% off until August the 24th. These are great gift card to pick up with the discount because they can even be used on gas, and are just plain handy to have in the event that you suddenly need to purchase something for you car or your home. I find that Candian Tire also has great clearance prices on toys several times a year, so purchasing discounted gift cards ahead of time will save you even more.

There are no rain checks available for this offer, which is valid on the $25, $50, and $100 denominations of the gift cards, so be sure to pick them up soon in case they sell out at your Sobeys and Foodland locations.

If you are heading to Walmart to shop this weekend, make a note to have a look for these Chipits Toppers being cleared out. They were recently selling for $1.98, but have been found on clearance for just 60 cents at some locations.

They may not be on clearance at every location, and they are not on the Walmart Canada website, but if you do spot them and they are not marked as clearance be sure to scan them anyway. If you can’t locate them in the store be sure to have a look around the ice cream aisle as that is where I found them.

You may also have a coupon to make this an even sweeter deal. Not long ago there were sheets of coupons out with $1 off Breyers ice cream and other coupons, including one for 50 cents off the Chipits toppers. Use this coupon if you have it and pay just 10 cents each!!

Walmart Canada has Free shipping on all online orders of $50 or more.
