IKEA Canada has a great sale in each store every Wednesday! It’s Wacky Wednesday! The following list includes the IKEA Canada Wacky Wednesday deals and sales that will be valid for only Wednesday August 31, 2016.

Starting on Saturday 3rd September, earn 2000 bonus Optimum points when you buy a $50 Ultimate Dining Card.  The cards can be used at Harvey’s, Kelsey’s, Montana’s, East Side Mario’s, Swiss Chalet and more while your points will be worth around $4.20 at bonus redemption.

Sadly, these gift cards do not count towards other Optimum offers so you will not earn any additional points on this offer, but it is always good to save on gift cards or get a bonus back.  You can save the gift cards until you find an offer that suits, or when you just can’t be bothered cooking.

We have a treat for those of you in Western Canada.  It is not very often that we have early sneak peeks for you, but TommyCoupons has uploaded a sneak peek of the upcoming Safeway/Sobeys flyer starting on Friday 2nd September.

Shop on Tuesday 6th September for Customer Appreciation Day and choose between 10% off or 20x Air Miles but there are also some offers for during the week if you use the coupons found in the flyer.

Spend $95 or more and get either a $10 gift card or 95 Air Miles which is worth $10 in Air Miles Cash but can be worth more if you redeem dream miles.  If you are spending a little more, you can get a $20 gift card or 190 Air Miles when you spend $150 or more.  These offers cannot be combined and are not valid on Tuesday.

You can view the entire flyer sneak peek here.

Another week without redemption but at least we have a regular 20x Optimum event to look forward to on Saturday 3rd September.  You can earn 20x Optimum points when you spend $50 or more on almost anything in the store.  One day sale items are valid for the Optimum event and include

• Royale 8 triple rolls or 12 double rolls $3.99
• Select fragrances $17.77
• Christie cookies and crackers $1.88
• Lined paper refills 150 sheets $0.19
• Colgate Total $0.88

Honey Bunches of Oats are on sale for $2.49, use the printable coupon for $2 off and pay only $0.49 while the rest counts towards your pointable total.  You can view the entire flyer sneak peek here.

It looks like we can get back to shopping online, ordering coupons and trading without worrying about possible job action at Canada Post.  They have finally reached a tentative agreement with their biggest union ending the uncertainty of a strike over the summer and the possibility of job action lasting until the Christmas shopping season.

Details of the contracts are not yet available, but both sides seemed pleased in their announcement.  This is however a two year agreement compared to their usual four year contracts so while we can hope they work on negotiations before 2018, we can likely expect another few months of uncertainty then too.

A new coupon is available through the Dempster’s Canada coupon portal today, and you may be thinking this is an old coupon, but it now has a new twist! Whereas the older version of the coupon was only valid on the white Dempster’s bread, this new coupon is for $1 off the purchase of Dempster’s 100% Whole Wheat OR White Bread.

I am very excited about this coupon because despite being able to get cheap white bread, I really prefer to by the whole wheat bread for my family. With this coupon and a sale, you can easily get a loaf of bread for a dollar. If printed today, the coupon will have any expiry date of September the 28th, 2016.

One of the biggest complaints about couponing is that coupons on healthy food are rare.  We were lucky with some good ones this summer but Maxi & Cie stores will be offering 2,000 PC Plus Points when you spend $20 or more on fresh fruits and vegetables next week so you can make your own sale.  There is a second offer for 1,500 PC Plus Points when you spend $15 or more on natural products so you can get 10% back in points on these offers.

If you are shopping for taxable products, shop on Saturday 3rd September as you will save the taxes on almost anything in the store.  They have a number of electronics on sale to make this deal even better too.

If you only have a Maxi store and not Maxi & Cie, you can still take advantage of the offer on fresh fruits and vegetables next week.  The PC Plus deals are valid September 1-7th while the no tax day is Saturday only.

If you are updating your wardrobe for fall or doing some last minute back to school clothes shopping, Maxi & Cie will also give you 20,000 PC Plus Points when you spend $80 or more on Joe Fresh apparel this weekend.  Shop Friday through Sunday to take advantage of this offer that will give you $20 back in points that can be spent on your groceries.

You can view the Maxi & Cie flyer sneak peek for this offers here.
