I tested out this deal and was able to find direct flights to New York, which obviously isn’t Eastern Canada but still part of the deal, for $218 (taxes included). This is a decent deal, but not the best when compared to this week’s sale at Air Canada.
The better deals I found were on short distance flights within Canada. I took a look around at some flights and was able to find a one way flight between Toronto and Thunder Bay for just $120.37! This is a bit better than Air Canada’s advertised fare of $138 for the same trip.

Health Canada has once again expanded it’s list of recalls of frozen chicken products due to concerns over Salmonella. Industry is now recalling No Name and Barber Foods brands uncooked stuffed chicken products from the marketplace due to possible contamination.
