Christmas is not that far away and the parcel volume is already increasing at Canada Post which means it is weekend delivery season.
I was surprised to hear a knock on my door this morning and find Canada Post standing there with a parcel where the tracking shows delivery on Tuesday (sadly they did not have my other parcel which should be delivered tomorrow). While some trucks have been out the last few weekends, my delivery person says the volume has really increased this week and it is the first weekend they have multiple trucks out across the city and they expect to be out every weekend until Christmas.
Even better, they are only delivering parcels so you will not be finding bills in your mailbox on the weekends! Weekend delivery is limited to urban cores when and where the mail volume requires the additional deliveries.
