Now we are all used to the promo codes that Shoppers Drug Mart Canada releases that allow you to receive FREE Optimum Points by updating your profile – this code is something new!

Enter the promo code 4771 or 4772 when you update your Shoppers Drug Mart Canada Optimum Rewards Points profile and you can receive a FREE Essence Nail Polish, Eyeliner or Mascara. To be eligible for this offer you must be one of the first 3000 people to take advantage of this promo. You also need to make sure you have not redeemed another Shoppers Drug Mart Coupon code on your profile in the last six months.

It is unfortunate that they have added that last stipulation – where you can only redeem one promo code every six months. This would have been a super cool offer for me to redeem but I have previously redeemed a free Optimum points code 🙁 I am sure many of you are in the same boat!

This offer expires on October 7th, 2014. People who are accepted will receive a confirmation email.

Our forum members have found some amazing deals at Target this week, and here are some of the things you can keep an eye out for the next time you are at Target. Clearance deals do vary from location to location, but it seems there are some awesome prices on housewares items, including duvets and cookware.

The Calphalon cookware set pictured above, regularly $300, was marked at $149, and scanned at $89. Another great find is a king size Threshold down alternative duvet, regularly $179.99, ringing in at $26.99!

One of our forum members has also reported that there is a huge selection of clearance in the baby department, with many items marked at 30-50% off including carriers and accessories, nipples, bottles, bath stuff, bed stuff, room stuff, fisher price items, and much more!

500g Armstrong cheese bars are also on clearance, but at 30% they are still over $4, making them cheaper on sale elsewhere this week, but should they drop again in price you are going to want to stock up for sure!

Click here to check out our SmartCanucks clearance deals thread.

We have a new thread for you this week.  It lists all of the rebate apps, the deals this week plus matchups from the flyers this week and possible coupons to use to save as much as you can.

Here are just some of the highlights

$2 when you buy 2 CLEAR SCALP & HAIR (Checkout 51)

• Matchup: $1.99 London Drugs, $2.99 Loblaw’s/Independent Grocer
• Coupon: $3 Smartsource (no longer available), $2 Redplum insert

If you buy this at London Drugs, or can price-match it, you would make money if you use these coupons and get the rebate.

$0.50 when you buy Catelli pasta (Zweet)

• Matchup: $1 Target
• Coupon: $1 (websaver or Shoppers Voice) $0.75 (insert)

Again, you can make money matching the coupon to the rebate.

Click here to view the thread.  We are still adding deals from the newest flyers but if you know of a local match-up, feel free to reply to the thread.

This is a new thread we are trying, if you would like to see this in the future, reply and let us know.  If you are a forum member, you can click thumbs up on the thread.

Here are the items you can get free with coupons this week

• FreshCo: Dempster’s Whole Grains Bread $1.99 – $2 (websaver.ca) = FREE
• Maxi: Crest Toothpaste $1 – $1 (tear pad) = FREE
• RCSS: Crest Toothpaste $1 – $1 (tear pad) = FREE
• Target:  Catelli Pasta $1 – $1 (websaver.ca) = FREE

There have been many new coupons over the last few weeks so we should hopefully start seeing more free items with coupons soon.  If you want to see full matchups or have a question about the coupons for these deals, click here to visit the discussion thread on our forums.
