Tax season is upon us again and right now there is an offer available through Ufile.ca to save $5 off on filing your tax return online. This brings the price down to $10.95 for a single return. After a frugal February and January, I do need to stock up on some things so may do this promo if the flyer is decent, what about you?  Hopefully they have some $50 promos soon, I prefer them over 75 promos.

Have you ever liked & shared a post on facebook as a way to win a prize?  Apart from there being facebook issues with doing contests right on your wall, so many of these votes do not count because users (rightly) have all of their posts set to friends only which means the page can’t see your share.

When people share facebook posts from the SmartCanucks’ wall we can typically only see 10-20% of those shares (a reminder those who don’t set all posts to friends only, but some of them are shares to other pages) so the other 80-90% would not be counted.

For your share to be counted, you need to click the box shown, which will likely say Friends as default and choose public.  I usually go back and change them to friends after the contest is over so my page doesn’t show them publicly forever.
