The Nintendo 3DS is now availble for pre order at Future Shop online. The offical release date is March 27 2011, with a steep retail value of $249.99. The base colours are a beautiful teal blue and of course traditional black.
The 3DS is home to the classic Nintendo DS controls with a handful of significant differences that completely change the face of portable gaming. It still has the classic controls, as well as the touchscreen and stylus. But it also has a 3D display that’s 10% larger, and a Circle Pad. Together, they create an experience that comes to life with never-seen-before detail and the accuracy of a console gaming system.
Other awesome features include:
3D Depth Slider that lets you select the level of 3D they enjoy the most
Built-in motion sensor and gyro sensor can react to the motion and tilt of the system
3 cameras: one pointing inward, and two pointing outward that allow you to capture awesome 3D images, manipulate your pics, and even super-impose one on another
Sleep mode allows you to use the 3DS as a pedometer that lets you earn coins in exchange for additional content as you walk
Built-in parental controls that can be used to limit Internet access or some of the wireless functions
StreetPass lets you exchange game information with other Nintendo 3DS systems
SpotPass connects the device to public hotspots and receive new content and updates
Nintendo 3DS Sound lets you enjoy sound-manipulation tools or listen to MP3 or AAC music files
The Mii Maker application gives you new tools to create Mii characters even more easily
Nintendo eShop gives you access to downloadable games, as well as older games that were available for Game Boy and Game Boy Colour
Compatibility with all current Nintendo DS games Includes memory card slot and 2GB memory card (can be expanded later
Some of the features on this model look like they will be really neat. The 3d of course being the big one, but the three cameras sound pretty cool too! This will be on top of my sons wishlist for his birthday. Will you be buying one?

Julie sent me this weeks MAC Cosmetics free shipping code. For some reason I didn’t get the code from MAC this week. Anyways simply enter the code “FIND” at checkout. I actually need more foundation so this code will come in handy. Don’t know what shade to use? I highly suggest visiting a MAC Cosmetics store and having a professional assess your skin and tones. Your end result will a flawless finish, and a foundation that doesn’t make you look like you just came from a guest appearance from Jershey Shore. Code is valid until January 23rd 2011. Click here to shop at MAC Cosmetics.
