PayPal Canada has a new promotion going on called “Bring your Appetite and not your Wallet”. Right when I saw the name, I was automatically interested… PayPal has an app that was recently launched where you basically pay via your mobile device. Before I get into the promo, I’ll explain the app as simple as I can first – Basically, after downloading the app, you’re able to send money quickly and easily transfer money to family or friends using just an email or a phone number. You can choose to pay using your bank account, PayPal account or credit card and it’s all safe and secure! When you’re in stores, all you have to do is tap “shop” on the app to find stores in your area, check in to a store by sliding the “P” to “Pay” and then tell the cashier you’re paying with PayPal.
Now let’s move along to the Appetite without a wallet promotion. If you pay with the PayPal app, you’ll get $5 off your order at 12 different Toronto patios. When it’s time to settle up, there’s no need to wait for a paper receipt on a little plastic tray because it can all be done by a tap on your phone.
