This is cute, I will get these for my 8 year old who LOVES animals. When I was a kid, I was hugely into animal rights and welfare and as a sensitive child animal suffering disturbed me greatly. It still does. I realize that PETA is a controversial organization but many of their points are valid and I admire their goal of ending or minimizing animal suffering.
On second thought, having first looked through these, I know that they would disturb my sensitive and impressionable daughter too much as they are pretty graphic in what they describe (the ugly truth). Though I agree with the lessons taught, I think I will wait to get them until she is older perhaps.
