I LOVE Pop chips. Metro used to sell chips like this a few years back and I was obsessed with them. When they stopped making the chips I was so sad and then I found these ones, which are almost the same. BBQ is my fav.
I LOVE POP Chips…they are the best they are the new slogan I figure “I bet ya just can’t eat one” I especially love the original ones…after I tried one bag I went back to Save-on and bought 4…only problem they didn’t last. But I still wait until they go on sale before purchasing them…they are very delectable…
I love them as well my favourite is the sour cream and onion
Is there any plausible reason why it’s required to install a “coupon printer”? When it’s extremely easy for the companyto simply create a link to the coupon or post it as a PDF, this seems highly unusual, and rather unnerving. To each his own, but I won’t be installing an unnecessary and perhaps dubious program for the sake of a free bag of chips.
I tried the BBQ ones and I didn’t like them at all I’ll probably never be repurchasing them again…
They sell the bbq at costco and we love them!
Wonder if anyone has had luck using a coupon which has the product in ounces?
I tried them and thought they tasted like cardboard : / I dont think I will be trying them again
I’m wondering the same as Ruby… why would we need to install a special “coupon printer”!?! No thanks!
@Jay, Ruby it makes it more difficult for someone to print more coupons than they want each individual to print. With a pdf you can just print off as many as you like, haven’t printed this one yet but im assuming you can only print once.
Of course there are copiers and scanners but average people cannot be bothered and/or do not have the technical knowledge to do so with good quality results.
Also i beleive it is a form of outsourcing, the coupon can be made available with almost no work by the company, all they have to do is choose the terms, dont have to worry about distribtion
I used the coupon tonight at shoppers with no problem. When you print the coupon it prints 2 copies for you
My hubby says the software you download is type of spyware as there is no other reason for this. What does it matter really if someone prints more than one off?
On the Pop chips I’ve tried the bbq from costco and I found them awesome…I haven’t noticed them anywhere else, so I’ll keep my eyes open…
It’s to stop people from abusing the coupons of course. And it isn’t spyware…It’s just a small software that lets you print coupons and companies can set how many is allowed from each computer and also how it prints out.
All coupon websites require you to install a small coupon printer program. I have never had any issues with them, no they are not spyware. As others have said it is so you are limited in the number of coupons you can print. Most it is only once, but with the pop chips one you can print it twice.
Natalka – they had the same coupon in February and I’m pretty sure it probably said 3 oz on that coupon as well. I never had any issues but if they have a problem tell the cashier that it is simple mathematics and 3oz = 85g (which is the amount on the bag)
Thanks, Cathy – I’ll give it a try.
I couldn’t help but chuckle at the idea that the process of installing a “coupon printing” program is to reduce the number of forged copies. I’ve seen many people post on here that they use multiple e-mails to do just that. It isn’t that hard. I might trust some websites to allow them to install programs, but anyone with any knowledge of the internet would advise against this. Besides, I think installing programs takes up space on my computer, which I would much rather use to download pictures of unicorns.
To most people creating a second email account for coupons is crazy and would never go to that much work. I would imagine that the “spyware” is siimply the coupon printer making an entry on your computer to note that this machine has already printed the coupon. I use AVG free and spybot S&D they keep my pc safe and they are free
@donny68 I got a 1TB external harddrive to help me store all my unicorn pics, pm me maybe we can trade (as if there are any i don’t already have!!)
